Sorry, WHY can't a human and ape be grouped scientifically?
Because the Bible says in Genesis 1:24-27 "Then God said, 'Let the earth produce living creatures according to their KINDS: livestock, creatures that crawl, and the wildlife of the earth according to their KINDS.' And so it was. So God made the wildlife of the earth according to their kinds, and creatures that crawl on the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good. Then God said, 'Let US make man in Our image, according to Our likeness. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, all the earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth.' So God created man in His own image; He created him in the image of God; He created them male and female."
If, as a Catholic, you believe in the inerrant truth of the Bible, then you should of course believe that God has the power and capability to bring about the various animal KINDS. Kind, translated miyn (meen) from Hebrew means "From an unused root meaning to portion out; a sort that is species." Even since the beginning of time, writers like Moses were able to use scientific terms to label the creation. Notice that God created MAN separate from the other animals. When we look at fossils and even Charles Darwin says, "I am quite conscious that my speculations run quite beyond the bounds of true science." Or when he says the often told line of, "To suppose that the eye with all its inimitable contrivances for adjusting the focus to different distances, for admitting different amounts of light...and for the correction of spherical and chronomatic aberration, could have been formed by natural selection, seems, I freely confess, absurd in the highest degree."
The scientific establishment has told the lie long enough. Fossils aren't factual evidence that connects humans to apes or monkeys. That's just what secular science wants people to believe. If you tell a lie long enough...
If this is true of apes/monkeys to man, why don't we see evidence of transitional fossils being found tying every species together? There's just not enough fossils on earth to support that claim. Again, at best, it's unprovable but falsifiable theorems. We didn't come from an evolutionary tree. We came from an evolutionary orchard, where each KIND, evolved within their own species - microevolution.
