Dream on.

Seriously, you have never heard of the Miller-Urey experiment? They proved exactly what they set out to prove.

Exactly...no evidence

Amazingly wrong.

The eye that is lost can't see, the ear can't hear but if the mind is the brain why can 1/2 a brain still think?

The remaining eye can still see, the remaining ear can still hear, the remaining brain can still think. I don't see why you have such a problem with this.

Yes they did - that ignoring electrical processes is a bad, bad thing.

"This experiment had a nozzle spraying a jet of steam at the spark discharge. By using high-performance liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, the group found more organic molecules than Miller had. Interestingly, they found that the volcano-like experiment had produced the most organic molecules, 22 amino acids, 5 amines and many hydroxylated molecules, which could have been formed by hydroxyl radicals produced by the electrified steam."

99.9% of the universe will kill you within seconds of you setting foot in it. Even the infinitesimally minute fraction of the universe you occupy - the Earth - is largely inhospitable to you. In light of this, I am unable to summon the gargantuanly arrogant level of hubris it takes to assert that it was meant for humans.

Earth was created for humans. The rest is out of reach during this life. As you point out
most of the laws of nature do not support the formation of life..making the scriptural
account the most likely scenario.

That it takes a lot of intelligence and effort to put together the ingredients needed for life.
It can't happen on its own.

And another source that supports the findings of the Miller-Urey experiment. I am glad that you agree that there have been many successful experiments in abiogenesis.

It is rare when creationists support the side of evolution, but they just can't help it at times.

Really? Where is your evidence for this? You do realize that the experiments done were attempting to mimic the conditions found in nature, don't you? That means the intelligent set up found in labs does not count as "intelligence" making the chemicals. Once again like it or not you just supported the fact that abiogenesis experiments have been successful.

Earth was created for humans.

Most of the Earth will kill you. 71% of it is salt water. Less than half of its land is arable. If it was 'created for humans', the being that did it was either stupid, lazy or incompetent.

Again, I am flabbergasted as to how you people are able to summon such elephantine levels of arrogance to make these unfathomably asinine assertions.

Okay.

Okay.
Less than half of its land is arable.

Okay.
If it was 'created for humans', the being that did it was either stupid, lazy or incompetent.

Or He created it to be inhabited by humans who wouldn't die.

You know -- before the Fall?
Again, I am flabbergasted as to how you people are able to summon such elephantine levels of arrogance to make these unfathomably asinine assertions.

It doesn't surprise me.

On Earth Two (a.k.a., the New Earth), we are going to live forever, despite how the earth is configured.

What you are overlooking, then, is the Fall.

So now you are claiming that your God is not omniscient. Or else he made the Earth so that very little of it would be inhabitable by man. A loss either way.

It doesn't surprise me.

That's fine, but I'm not the one "flabbergasted."

If the one that is flabbergasted wishes to stay flabbergasted, my advice to him is to either ignore what I said, deny what I said, or ridicule it.

That way, said person can enjoy his flabbergastion.

As a rule the best thing to do is to ridicule your answers. I know from experience that a sane and civil debate is all but impossible with certain members here.

But if you ever do want to seriously debate a topic I will be more than happy to do so.

Thank you.

I appreciate the offer.

May I ask what your area of expertise is?

When I went to college a millennium ago my major was geology.

What is your area of expertise? Or do you have any at all?
My secular area of expertise is business administration.

My theological area of expertise is dispensation theology, with emphases on creationism and the Flood.

So nothing then. But seriously if you fancy yourself an expert on the Flud why didn't you ever give an answer for my Goosenecks Challenge? I know, and you know, that you would have failed terribly. But you still should have taken a shot at it.

I thought I did.

I'll go take a gander at it.

What do you call this?
They could have been carved when God ordered the water off the earth.

Genesis 8:3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually: and after the end of the hundred and fifty days the waters were abated.

In other words, the waters went to a "siphoning point," where they were taken up and deposited elsewhere in the solar system (or wherever).
