i really dont see where speciation deals with the theory of evolution from a comman ancestor. We all no that evolution occurs, or adaptation of species and that the change and can change alot in traits and characters but never in structure of sytems. you would not find a ring species of an animal were the furthest grooup has a different structure or sytem in it. Like a new type of kidney function or a new apendage or a new type lung. or new sexual organs and such. We no evolution happens but never the theory of it. If it is a ring it ends, it doesnt go on forever other wise it would be called a straight line species. I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees all the assumptions in their reports. All the could of, would of, should if, But it may have, and all the others i have read.
