Pfft, I have been asked it, as a joke. Individuals don't evolve, populations do. Atheists do not isolate themselves from theists, and thus do not form a population that evolves separately from the rest of humanity as a whole.Again I will ask you here then to make sure you don't run away from my question. I know this is one you have never been asked. Never had to face.
Why don't Atheists Evolve?
Plenty of atheists have kids. As an example, Hitchens had 3 children. Having fewer children per family is a general trend among the human population in some countries, and I have never seen any statistical analysis that suggests atheists have notably fewer kids. I mean, Sweden should be hurting for the next generation if atheists don't have kids XDWhy don't you pass on your genes?
Do you think you are talking to a ghost? Suicide rates are only mildly higher among atheists than theists, and some groups of theists, such as Mormons, have a higher suicide rate than atheists do. It is possible that the higher suicide rate for atheists is a matter of the fact that atheists are disproportionately male, and suicides are disproportionately committed by males. Why do you commit suicide?
De-evolving isn't a real thing. Last I checked, atheists like myself didn't have physical traits different from the rest of humanity. Why do you de-evolve down to the lowest common denominator?
I see reasons to conclude that you were never an atheist despite your username, since you think that we are all sad sacks that hang themselves before we have kids. That, or you were super depressed as an atheist and never talked to other atheists. -_- also, it's nuns you are thinking of. Catholic nuns don't have kids. Or perhaps Buddhist monks. Weird that you'd assume (incorrectly) that atheists don't have kids while theistic practices that forbid specific members of certain religions from having children exist. Why go down to base level? Why lead us down? Why is your higher purpose on the level on animal when the religious have a deeper meaning, purpose and reflect that in the fact they are willing to evolve by passing on their genes and not off them selves?
You don't see the irony?
Now, I have a question for you: what does any of this have to do with my evolution experiment? Experiments exist to TEST hypotheses and theories, not to assert their conclusions always. Creationists such as yourself should be equally interested in performing such experiments, since evidence AGAINST hypotheses/theories can also be gained that way.
