  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I said I know more then the vast majority of people in the world today. That is not saying much at all because the vast majority of people do not know much about the theory of evolution.

That's the same as saying that you know more about evolution than anyone! And yet in literally every single thread about evolution you have participated in, you have not shown any knowledge about evolution at all.

So I ask you again: show me one post that you wrote that shows that you have a good understanding of evolution.

This is a false premise. I do not have an inflated ego, it really does not matter what you think about what I do or what I do not know. As I pointed out to you, it is against the rules for you to attack me and make me the center of the conversation. We are not here to talk about me. It is also not my job to explain this to you. If you have trouble understanding the rules we can get someone to explain them to you.

Okay then, so let's try this again: can you clearly and concisely explain what your initial topic in this thread is about since you have continually posted nonsensical walls of text that are nearly impossible to understand.

I said I know more then the vast majority of people in the world today. That is not saying much at all because the vast majority of people do not know much about the theory of evolution. I have read about it quite a bit. For example I have exp done in depth studies on the Origins of Agriculture. Esp the Origins of Agriculture in the Middle East.

My purpose was not to be some sort of an expert on Evolution. My purpose was to show that there is no conflict between the Bible and Science.

"The most important crops in Mesopotamia were wheat and barley. Farmers also grew dates, grapes, figs, melons, and apples. Favorite vegetables included eggplants, onions, radishes, beans, lettuce, and sesame seeds. Mesopotamians also raised sheep, goats, and cows." http://www.palmbeach.k12.fl.us/eagleslandingms/MesopotamiaAgriculture.pdf

If you go to Jerusalem you will find a few men who have been widely published in Peer Reviewed Science Journals that have extensively studied the History of Agriculture in the Middle East beginning in Ancient Mesopotamia. They will tell you about every plant and every animal we read about in our Bible. They will tell you how that plant or how that animal evolved. They are actually Hebrew, not Christian but still they can substantiate the accuracy and truthfulness of the Bible. This can all be done using science and what is known about the theory of evolution.

Evolutionary theory proves that the Bible is 100% accurate and true. If you understood the theory then you would know this is true.

Let me get this straight. You don't believe in the theory of evolution, yet, you claim the theory proves the bible is 100% true.

Another huge contradiction, on your part.

Apples and oranges.

No... countries and countries, rather.

For one we are trying to 'save' criminals that should be put to death; tens of thousands of them. Why reward such with a life of leisure at public expense.

No idea what you are talking about...

Hello, the porch lights are on but no one seems to be home. I did not say I do not believe in evolution. We're grateful to evolutionists for the hard work they have put into gathering the natural evidence and the artifacts that are used for "proof" of their theory. The issue is that Creationism does a far, far better job of explaining the evidence then evolutionary theory does. Francis Collins tries to set the record straight with his version of Theistic Evolution which I consider to be one of many Creationist theories.

Again Evolution attempts to explain the evidence. We do not dispute the evidence we just dispute their Harry Potter attempt to explain the evidence.

I remember when my son first stated to study evolution in grade school and there was a dispute with some of the creationists students and there was a discussion about it. He had a discussion with me about it and I was able to explain it to him in less then 2 minutes. The reason for this was explained by Jesus when He said: "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." You have to become as a child to understand. You have to get back the innocence and purity that you have lost. This is what it means to become born again and to be a child of God. People that are defiled and corrupted are never going to understand God or the things of God. Darwin began his journey in innocence and purity. The sailors on the ship he sailed on corrupted and defiled him so that he fell into the debauchery of evolutionary theory.

My son is in college now. He actually took college classes when he was in high school but they do make an attempt to protect the high school students from the corruption and debauchery of the university. They are pretty much only allowed to attend classes and banned from a lot of the activities at the University. So this is a real challenge to keep our public school students from being corrupted. A huge battle is going on now with Betsy DeVos as she is fighting for our young people. The corrupt and evil forces in education are doing everything they can to stop her.

You crack me up. Do you agree with evolution or not, there is no inbetween. And if you agree with evolution, how do you reconcile that with your claim evolution proves the bible to be 100% correct?

We all know that a lot of evolutionary theory is not true. New information comes along all the time and the have to revise the theory to adapt to the new information. That is the nature of science in general. There are text books where they have to completely revise a chapter and that means they have to come out with a new addition. The Bible has remained consistent and unchanged for 3500 years. NO revisions and no updates needed.

I have said many, many times that there is no conflict between true science and the Bible. There is a lot to be concerned with in the Public school system but science is the least of the worries compared to the other issues.

Yep, like a record with a scratch and it keeps playing the same track over and over again.

Ok, you claim to speak for others; we all know parts of evolutionary theory are not true? So now you can read peoples minds and talk about the light being on, but no one is home! Clearly, you have not read the many people on this site that clearly state, the evidence to show the theory of evolution is true, is overwhelming. It must take a lot of rustling of those defense mechanisms, to pretend people have not been crystal clear in this regard. Now, back to the point. Now you say much of evolutionary theory is not true, but you also claim the theory proves the bible to be 100% accurate. I think this tells us all we need to know about your thought process. Thanks for making it so clear.

That is why I always qualify what I say with the word TRUE: True Science says... I do not make any claims for false science or counterfeit science and there is a ton of that out there. Actually the whole process of science is to get rid of the false and counterfeit. The scientific method is to determine what is true and what is not true. Look at the Textbooks, they keep having to upgrade them with new editions to keep the information current and accurate. Old editions are not considered to be accurate or reliable. Usually in order to have a new edition they have to totally revise at least one chapter. I actually buy textbooks for about $5 each. My son at the university has to have the current edition and he has to pay up to $300 for pretty much the same book with more accurate and updated information. This should clearly show you how reliable and dependable science is. What amazes me is how good of condition those $5 books are in. Almost new condition.

Actually I usually have the opposite problem, people understand what I am say just fine. We can go over this again though. First of all I was asking a question about Evolution and Nutrition. Now perhaps I need to explain to you what I mean by the word: "Evolution" and the word: "Nutrition". That maybe why you are getting confused because you do not know the meaning of those words.

In reply to Warren Frumious Bandersnatch back on the third page answered my question when he said: "The Paleo diet is pseudo scientific hokum - because it's not based on evolutionary theory". I will explain this for you. The Paleo diet in and of itself is not a false premise. The book about the diet is not accurate or true and the book "The Paleo Diet" is not an true or accurate representation of Evolutionary theory. We then went onto discuss some of the finer detail of my question about the theory of evolution and modern diets today.

As usually there were lots and lots of posts that had nothing to do with the tread. It does not matter because at least one person usually know what they are talking about and they answer my questions even if no one seems to notice. In my evaluation only one person on this thread Frumious Bandersnatch knew anything at all about evolution to be able to answer my question. Everyone else is still trying to figure out what him and I were talking about.

You speak for others when you state; 'we all know much of evolutionary theory is not true'. Best you keep track of your own words a bit better. Now, you claim much of the theory is wrong, but the theory proves the bibls is 100% true at the same time. This is hilarious and the definition of contradiction.

There is only one theory of evolution, you dont get to redefine it for your personal purposes. You either agree with the scientific theory or you dont.
