If he didn’t then people shouldn’t use Jesus as their reason for why evolution isn’t real. But don’t they?
I think it’s more about Genesis than anything. While Jesus was here, he had a short time to bring people to the Kingdom of God and start His Church. He was about His Father’s business. Back then, there was nothing to discuss. Creation as they knew it was just a given.

I did not say He didn’t. It simply was not on anyone’s agenda at the time. How God created us does not concern me too much. I doubt it concerned anyone in Jesus’ day. He was on a different mission.
