  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

God gives us everything. Without Him, we wouldn't exist. He made the earth and gave us life. Many people don't even acknowledge that He's there, but He still continues to provide for us.

God is merciful beyond what we can imagine as people. It's tough for us to understand how God can forgive us again, again, and again for our various failures to follow the outline for our lives that He gave us in the Bible.

Our time here on earth is a trial period. We have the opportunity to learn to love God, and move toward being who He wants us to be, or fail to acknowledge Him as creator.

God gave us His son Jesus to provide a way for us to trust in Him, and obtain forgiveness for our sins. He gave us the Holy Spirit to guide us through our lives. God doesn't expect us to be perfect, just to try and do our best. He knows we have a lot to learn.

Let us thank Him today for our opportunity to have a trial with Him here on earth, and for the future permanent position that He has available for us after our trial here on earth is complete.
