i think everyone should have Dark Side Of the Moon, and some Zeppelin.

Since I'm sure nobody would accept my entire CD collection as must have, some that I think would be worthy additions include one or both of the U2 Best Of CDs, and everyone must own at least one CD from legendary bands such as Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Doors, Pink Floyd et al...

Truly universal music. This is the only record that everybody should own, although a few dozen others are strongly suggested.

Miles Davis was revolutionary regarding music as well. I should probably pick up Kind of Blue. I've got Milestones, though.

^While I wouldn't call it "perfect," Astral Weeks is amazing. Definitely something everyone should own.
