Everquest 2

I was very tempted to but wound up passing on it. I played EQ for 3 years and part of the reason I quit was from being fed up with all the use of "Magic" in the game. Just didn't feel right about it, and pulled away from the game a few times over it. It's been a year since I quit EQ but I had a real tuff time passing on EQ2.

Now, don't think I'm all kill joy for my personal choice with eq/eq2 because I'm waiting for Middle-earth online in a big way. It's not being loaded up with all that stuff that EQ/EQ2 has and I think it will be a good game to play from a Christian perspective. I'm reallly looking forward to MEO going live and plan on founding an organized Christian Kinship (guild). I have years of exp running guilds so it will be great! Well it will be some time before MEO goes live so I'm slowly crafting my pro hosted phpnuke/phpbb2 site we will be using. I'm really looking forward to this game.

As for EQ2 I bet it is fun. I followed the forums alot as it was being developed. I'm sure that game will be around for years.
