CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Obacai looked up from the menu when he heard his name, "Yes? Oh, the tournament? No, I will not be entering such a high and prestigious tourney as that. My skills with the sword are limited in comparison with Athos. Nay, my specialty lies in the bow, especially when hunting."
Rebecca smiled, "Oh, you hunt? How interesting. I've never went on a aproting expedition myself, but it seems so thrilling. You must be brave to face the terror of those wild animals."
Obacai turned to Rebecca, "Thank you. I hate to disappoint you, but I do not do sporting expeditions. I do not hunt for pleasure but to put food on the table at times." With this, Obacai returned his attention to Daethalion, "You see, good sir, I find no point or joy in the killing of a living creature just for the fun of it. Don't you agree?"

Well, maybe this may be best. Not for humans, losing the alliance with the elves, but to keep the elven race alive. Like she said, they're disappearing. I mean, how many have you seen in the open in the past ten years? So far, Kelliana is the first I've seen in my life, and I've traveled the world!

Falil shook his head slowly, "Yes, but what they don't realize is that by isolating themselves they open themselves up to the stereotypes and myths that have been woven about them, which will lead to further persecution and abuse. No, a furthur seperation of man and Elves will only lead to more misunderstanding and mistrust between the races."

Falil bit his lip as he looked to the ceiling as if it might have the answers, "Yes, there is nothing we can do about her. The only hope for her is, as it is for all Elves, Atlas. Only, it will be harder for her..." Falil's voice trailed off as he thought about the great tragedy that was also known as Elven history, "Come with me, now, then. I will take you to the Hall in town, and perhaps we may find answers there."

Falil spoke as he walked, "It will be harder for her because for her it's more personal, and deeper, than it will be for any other elf. But come, perhaps we can do something in the hall. It is the only place that non-nobles as yourself have a voice. Perhaps they will listen to your plea."
Falil tread the rest of the way in silence. After a few hours they arrived at the Hall, a great Elvish building formed by the careful growing of several trees. A mass of intertwining branches and leaves formed the roof and all the walls. As the two neared the front entrance, a thick mat of vines parted themselves to reveal the large interior of the Hall. The room was filled with elves, both young and old. Most attention was focused on the various stages in the room where Elves orated their opinions and convictions. A large center stage attracted the largest crowd.
Falil took the oppurtunity to turn to Sierra, "And this is the great Elven Hall. Let's see if there's anyone here who shares our opinion.
