The Addams Family was first on when I was little. I remember just loving that show as a little kid and now it's been in syndication for a long time.

I saw the opening theme song this morning and it made me wonder.

Did you snap your fingers along with the Addams family as the theme song played?

Just a fun little thread about a classic show.

If I remember correctly, the phrase from Lurch "YOU WRANG" got to be quite popular in the culture in general.

It's also been fun to say to my son, that's Sean Astin's father. We're all fans of Lord of the Rings in our house.

Oh, yeahhhh..... Loved that show.

So. Are you a Munsters person or an Addams person?

I'm an Addams guy.

Hmm, good question!

I'm leaning towards Addams, although Herman Munster WAS an awfully lovable guy.

But in the end, I'd pick the Addams'
