One of my favorite pieces is Flos Campi by Ralph Vaughan Williams. It's a suite for viola and wordless chorus. One of the only pieces of music that I have been compelled to listen to several times in a row. I just get lost in it.

Also, Brahms Op. 118 No. 2 Intermezzo in A Major... thank God for the piano!

Does anyone ever listen to classical music and get particularly touched by it?

Just today (in music history class), we listened to Berlioz's Symphonie fantastique, and I was rather overcome. I know this work is special in that regard because it tells a story, but I've been feeling the same way with other works, too.

That's because Berlioz's Symphonie is a magnificent piece.
