Ever Get The Feeling . . .

. . . that you should be doing more with your music ministry? I have been a choir baby all my life, but for the last several months, I have felt a move to Praise and Worship. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being in the choir, I am truly one of God's trumpet, but I have been yearning for a more intimate and personal music ministry and prayed to God that He show me if P&W would be for me. I love P&W music along with all gospel music.

So, this past Sunday as I was in the choir room after service, one of the P&W team members approached me and asked if I would consider being a part of the P&W team that performs on Wednesday evenings before Bible study. Without hesitation I said of course.

Please pray for me as I enter into this branch of music ministry. I am excited about what God has in store and I look forward to a more intimate setting as I enter into His presence through song.

Yes and thanks for asking!

The P&W rehearsals are going well! We will be doing P&W service for bible study and then we will be going to the prisons to minister to the inmates.

I am excited about this new phase of ministry I'm in!

Wow, sounds more like a regular P&W ministry.

God always calls us for bigger things.. and sometimes big has a different meaning for us. However, what will bring you to a closer and more intimate relationship with God is your daily communion with Him. When I was the worship leader, I always told the members that it is not what we do during rehearsals what will show on Sundays, but what we do on a daily basis. Sometimes a 5 mins a day is much more powerful than a 3hrs Sunday time with God.

I'm very happy for you that you have moved to a different ministry, similar but different, and looks like it's gonna take you to better challenges. I'll be praying for you and your church.
