I'd like to offer up a suggestion for all to see and give feedback if necessary.
In the Congregation forum we have Semper Reformanda - Reformed under faith groups. Honestly, both terms (Semper Reformanda and Reformed) spring from the Dutch Reformed Churches and by extension the Protestant Reformed Churches and Christian Reformed Churches ( Presby's
)
A common area for Calvinistic folk is greatly appreciated. Quite a few members like posting in fellowship there and sharpening one another's theology. If all Calvinistic folk are allowed and encouraged to participate in this subforum, it seems logical to not redefine historical terminology to include all.
Maybe a name change to Evangelical Calvinism would be prudent to alleviate the tension that comes with the heritage of the forum title and others who may be classified as part of the new Calvinism, dispensational Calvinism, Particular Baptists etc. that are not included in this heritage.
humbly,
SAX
