  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I really wore the cd out.I was in a different place in my life thought too. I still think she needs voice lessons for taking her voice to live venues. I was really miffed by her inability to sing these great songs live.

When you've been in here as long as a lot of us have, you get tired of seeing the same ol' "Does Anyone Else Like (Insert band name here)?" threads.

i wholly agree with this.

newb shouldn't assume that their topic is the first to be posted on a subject, the thread made yesterday might be on the second (some times same) page...

i think when the latest U2 album came out, we had four or five threads on it within the first two pages, and thats not counting U2 threads made that didn't even concern the album...

oh, and as for evanescence,
they are so gophik...what freeks...

Ah, but see U2 deserves many threads due to their greatness. Evanescence, not so. ;)

my favorites are their old songs
esp. breathe no more & field of innocence

i've seen them twice in concert, live
i thought amy lee sounded amazing, perfect, and angelic

just to give her some credit
she was choir president in high school
she surely must has singing talent for that

You must have been really out of it then. If anything, Evanescence's concerts have always been just "ok". She has too much trouble controlling her voice on stage. Granted, it's a lot easier to belt out those notes she does in a studio when all your breath goes into the notes. But when she tries to pull them off on stage while running around and jumping and screaming, she fails miserably.

I do agree whole heartedly, as I said in my last post, that the older pre-fallen music, was so much better.
