  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Both historically and in our present day, becoming a eunuch is not typically something that a man does voluntarily. It is done too him, often while still a child, for the purpose of selling him into slavery. Nothing that is done to you without your consent can be a sin.

I cannot even imagine a scenario in which a man would voluntarily become a eunuch, but I'm not sure why it would even occur to someone to ask the question of whether it was sinful. How did this come up for you?

I see I spelled it wrong.

I have a problem with lust. I don't physically act on them, but it is ruining my life and it will eventually send me to hell. And I burn with unwanted desires.

If you're talking about the physical act, the fact is that removing a man's testicles after puberty will make him impotent but will do nothing whatsoever to quell sexual desire. Indeed, not even advanced old age will do that--I know a brother in his latter 80s--a widower for more than a decade-- who confesses to us close to him that he has a problem with Internet porn.

The fact that you are having desires that you resist and confess will not send you to hell.

You have desires that are natural to your flesh. That physical desire in itself is not a sin--God created us to feel them normally. Hunger is a physical desire. When you read about Jesus' temptations in the wilderness, it specifically says, "He was hungry."
But if we allow the physical desire to control our actions and decisions, serving the physical desire is the sin.

"Know ye not that to whomever ye yield yourselves as servants to obey, his servants ye become whom ye obey, whether of sin which leads unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" -- Romans 6

But as long as you resist serving your flesh, it is not your master and you do not sin. To some extent, it's the struggle that is common to all of us.

Combat that by the transforming of your mind (Romans 12) so that your mind controls your body instead of your body controlling your mind. Two things to help you do that:

1. Be careful what you feed your mind and spirit (Philippians 4). Be careful what you watch and listen to. Use the Philippian Prescription to discern good spiritual food from harmful spiritual food. Be sure to feed your spirit good spiritual food and shun bad spiritual food. Don't linger on what is harmful.

2. Don't merely avoid doing what is wrong, but seek to fill your time doing what is edifying and beneficial (1 Corinthians 10).

we all do .
please know this. please know the lord Jesus is Able to change our heart.transform it.
do not lose heart .Only believe and hold on in faith.cast your cares upon Jesus .
ONLY BELIEVE.

Castration is not sinful BUT...it does not change our hearts.

james says a man (person) is only tempted by the lust of our heart..the one thing we cannot change of ourselves..and the reason we need a saviour who can.

Call unto me (says the lord)and i will answer you..

the very reason you loathe in yourself the knowledge of our own sin is evidence of the power of Gods salvation at work in us.the day we deny our sinfulness is the day we are fully deceived by it.
Jesus came to set us free.
do not lose heart .be strong and very courageous."who so ever believes in me shall not perish but have everlasting life"

if we confess (admit)our sin he is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness

to really believe IN him is to believe he can do IN us what we can never do ourselves regardless of any apparent evidence contradicting the TRUTH of the lord Jesus.
So in the face of the temporary evidence that there is an impassible (red)sea in front of you .believe in Jesus and hold on regardless .because when the enemy thinks he has you beat..God will part the seas and you will walk free.

only do not lose heart.. Just BELIEVE!
And God credits it to you as righteousness through Christ Jesus.
you will look back on these days and you will not remember the agony of battle ..but only rejoice in the Joy of the lords deliverance.
