Certainly every Christian can and should witness for the Savior --the Lord Jesus Christ, but WAIT ...there is more!


The essence of Christianity as shown in the Bible is really three things, I see: Redemption Way; Church Truth; Spiritual Life. Has one discerned that? This is in addition to Old Testament studies of Deity, Creation, God's ways in dealing with and for mankind down through history, etc.


Rather than listen to voices scrambling the Word of God with various verses of Scripture, one should be "rightly dividing the Word of Truth" as God enjoins us. He shows there are also three peoples in His world: Jews, Gentiles, and the Church of God. Has one seen that? Both Jews (Israelites) and Gentiles (the gender of most mankind), are natural man; then, the Church of God are those of all people in this age who are of God and approved and accepted by Him. One can look more closely at that distinction if they wish.


Now, as to the first fundamental here, I believe a professing Christian (or interested seeker) needs to make the distinction in their studies of the "essence of Christianity", as mentioned above to understand what God is saying to us in our day. Reading the Bible daily is a good practice, and much prayer-reading is important (seeking the mind of God in all we read and think). Perhaps the greatest error in Christian life, is listening to popular preachers and reasoning, rather than going to God and comparing Scripture with Scripture to learn. Christendom in the world is a majority religious ideology that falls short of Christianity. Believers be ware!

Perhaps it would be helpful for one to consider now what is involved in the subject of Redemption, as stated above; and what is involved in Church Truth and in Spiritual Life. That kind of inquiry is what will lead one to salvation of their soul, and blessings by God now and for eternity; and peace and happiness here as we seek to honor God and wait our time to meet Him, which is a surety. What helped me the most has been to see that there are two commandments, to love God and to love people.

Yes love is important in ALL our walk and testimony. That would be under the study of Spiritual Life, as mentioned above.
