Wow, honestly, the amount of agenda-pushing to prevent its becoming "more conservative" is depressing. The guy's been here 5 minutes!

Hang on, it s only just begun. Any move to be more conservative will be met with tough tactics, IMO.

I have to wonder if this sale had anything to do with the changes just made. If this is not the case, things have a good chance here. If it IS the case, well...

As for me, I will hope for the best and pray for the best and work... but its good to watch and be prepared either way imho.

His views as stated so far are conservative Protestant. The issue will be the extent his views shape the forum. As owner he is not bound by the past.

I hope he's OK with Catholics.

Let's be positive and not get concerned about what may or may not happen. We need to pray and be supportive of our Brother who has taken over. I do not see this as Erwin dumping Cf/4u but rather see this as God's purpose for this place at this time.

Hi everyone! I don't think this is going to be a bad thing... Lee sounds like a pretty conservative guy -- he was the pastor of a small church, and saved since he was 17 years old (Baptist). Can't remember a lot more than that other than he is married and a father of two young children.

I think we should wait and see what happens from here... Erwin IS sticking around the site, and we are all helping LeeD to learn what is what, who is who, etc...

Do me a big favor...

Let's not worry about this until there is need to worry, if any! I don't think Erwin has "dumped" this site at all... He has expressed that he IS sticking around, just that LeeD will be able to spend more time with the site than Erwin was able to...

The Gadfly asks the questions others will not.

I appreciate his willingness to state his beliefs.
The question is the degree to which his views will be infused to the site.

I think it is hard to say LDS is a cult and then to read their rules in their forum and not be concerned that they have opened a LDS safe haven to recruit. And if their rules are upheld, nothing can be done to counter their proselytizing within their walls.
