Error Message when Saving Avatar

Hi,

I had tried to add a background and it would not add. It would show up next to the avatar on the right, but would not show up in the window with the avatar where you move it around. I tried a few times and with different backgrounds and nothing worked. My first save where I just changed the clothing worked fine, I did not get the error message until I tried to add the background.

Error Msg:

Error: living_avatars/avatars/ folder needs CHMOD of 777

No, it is still not working. What happens is this. I go to edit avatar, when I first get to the page where you do the editing what happens is a whole bunch of items load in the editing window just to the left of where my avatar apears in that box. I can see all sorts of items, items I have and items I don't. The screen loads all this items layer on layer and then when it's finished they disappear and I can then edit my avatar. I can change clothes with no problem.

When I go to add a background I go click on a back ground, the background selected then shows to the right of the editing tools, then I click on "add item" like I would to add a piece of clothing, but with backgrounds nothing happens. I've clicked repeatedly and the back ground never appears in the editing window.

Am I doing something wrong?

No, still not working on several counts now. I removed everything from my avatar and tried to add a background, still won't add and now I'm getting a new error message. (below)

When first load the avatar editing page a whole bunch of items load next to my avatar, not my items I don't think, and then when my avatar is fully loaded those images disappear and I can edit my avatar.

This time I removed everything from the box except the physical features. Then I added clothing and 3 non clothing items for example, horse, apple and barrel. When I tried to save I got this message:

"You have too many items! Please reduce your items from 261 to 50 by selling them before trying to save again."

My avatar only shows in the very last post I make, all of my other posts it does not and I don't see anyone elses avatars in posts either.

To save your avatar, you will have to sell back items until you get down to 50. We had to change the item limit because of loading times and server errors. To sell an item, click on it just like if you are adding it to your avatar, then click Sell, which is right next to the other buttons. If you'd rather have your inventory cleared out by a tech, you can PM SirAdrian and he will wipe out your inventory. We do apologize. I know 50 is a small limit, but it is helping to improve server issues.
