I have a little problem with this.

In the NT, all that Devil,Legion,Antichrist,Beezlebub,Evil One . . .

What's up with that? thanks.

I was just curious about Jesus in the NT in conflict with all that.

BTW, there is a SDA assembly/church in my area. hello <wave>

You will find this especially in the gospel of Mark, which really emphasizes the "battle" between good and evil which culminates in the ultimate victory of Christ through His death and resurrection. In Mark, only the demons recognize Him as the Son of God (and they do consistently) - no man does until the centurion at the cross. Even Christ refers to Himself as the "Son of Man" only, while the demons call Him "Son of God"/

The Jesus prayer can be said often by Orthodox Christians.

Demons often travel in packs, it makes hunting easier. I had 5 on me for many years, it was utterly miserable. In the Bible it says "Legion because we are many" legion meaning many.

Please do not listen to or attend the SDA assembly in your area. They are always talking about the End Times, and so are the JWs. Avoid them like the plague.

It would be far beneficial if you would please contact a local Orthodox Priest and start attending an Eastern Orthodox Church. Your desire to attend the WRO parish is commendable, but you are in a very precarious situation since you are not attending any church now.

So, please go and attend the nearest EASTERN ORTHODOX CHURCH and avoid attending all PROTESTANT churches.

I went to a vegan potlock at a SDA assembly/church in my area. There was no meat.

However, I have been to Lenten potlucks on Sundays during the Nativity Fast where our parish served FISH. That is definitely not Vegan.

Hey Pro Scribe, if you haven't noticed, I was just being silly here. i think Kristos post 6 says it all-- The Jesus.

Like Mark, it reminds us that evil is very real (why else would we pray it) and that Christ is indeed the Son of the Living God and the evil spirits know this
