CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

And I agree with you.
When Luka said something about not feeling the Holy Spirit in that situation, I was VERY happy that the Holy Spirit got a mention on TV.
Jesus is mentioned a bit. And God is mentioned alot, especially the three word profanity.
But we rarely hear "The Holy Spirit" on secular TV.

I taped it...I wasn't going to because I'm not really a huge excited person when ER does the shows just basing on one or two characters. But kind of like a last minute decision before I headed off to work I chose to set a tape for it.
If I get a chance to watch it tomorrow before work, I will so I can comment more.
But I'm glad to hear a bit about the episode....and what it had in it.

I watched it. It was a nice episode. I could hardly keep awake though, lol
another show i'm insanely addicted to is Law and Order, I will do ANYTHING to watch all the episodes of that in a day (usually 5 )

I finally watched my ER tape...and yeah, I cried in this one.
And it was really good.
I really wish they would've subtitled what Luka was saying before he was to be taken in to be shot....I'm sure it was a prayer in Croatian...but I would've loved to know what he was saying. And that music that was playing when he was praying....it sounded very familiar but I can't tell whether it was music I heard on another ER episode or what. Anyone know what it was?

Anyone here from the Chicago area? Ever gone to a Kane County Cougars game? We went this past summer and I got a good chuckle when a player was down on the field (he ended up being ok) and the trainers ran out and they played the ER theme song over the speakers.
