OOO, maybe we'll find out who the man is who was waiting for her at home. My theory has always been that it's a baby, but I don't know. Will be interesting to find out. I heard someone theororize Ben, that'd be interesting too!

Me: It's the title of Wednesday's Lost.

Me: But it doesn't help you figure out where Eggtown is, does it?
DH: Uh, fertility????

He was sleeping, and that's why she said she had to get back to him. Based on the timeline of things Jack's flashback happened two years or so after they were rescued...
I say two years because it was a bit after the Hurly incident. Just a guess, though.

Was there something in Hurley's episode that gave a time-line of how long it was after they got rescued?

Not that I can remember. My gut says it was a few months after the rescue that Jack came. At that point Jack still didn't believe. So a couple more months for him to believe. Then he's flying on plans ever weekend for a couple more months. And yeah. I'd guess a year or two. I wanna say two years, but it's just been a guess.

There are several pieces that can be considered.
1) Jack and Hurley clearly haven't seen each other since the "rescue". It's long enough that Hurley seems to have thought that he'd never see Jack again, but not so long that they've lost familiarity.
a) I found it interesting that neither of them talked about any of the other 6. Obviously they have to disguise the ones that are still unknown, but they could have mentioned Kate? "Have you talked to Kate?"
2) Jack and Hurley talk about the fame - it seems to have died down, but Jack still "has to sign a few autographs when [he goes] out for coffee" (can't remember the exact wording).
3) Jack seems to think that it hasn't been long enough to prove that Hurley will keep the secret.
4) Hurley is being tortured by visions of Charlie - enough that he's at the point where he wants to be considered insane.
5) Michael Abaddon has just now taken the opportunity to contact Hurley. We don't know whether or not Hurley is the first one to be contacted.
6) Jack still seems to have things together, and has no beard - doesn't help date Hurley's flashforward, but possibly helps date Jack's.
Based on this, I'd say Hurley's flashforward is somewhere between 2 and 6 weeks after the "rescue".

Kate tells him she has to go because "He" will be wondering where she is. - makes me think it isn't a child.
