  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Jack

a Locke/daddy connection

Sometimes I don't get the titles and story lines. Guess it's just me.
My thoughts are that maybe....

Locke's dad is in "the brig" (i.e., Otherville Penitentiary) and maybe they tie that in with Jack's dad somehow? With all his drinking, I wouldn't be surprised if Jack had to bail him out of jail a time or two.

That's about the only connection I can make, based on Isabel the Sheriff of Otherville, the cages (jails) we already saw, and the title of the episode.

On that note, I think Locke's hand in Left Behind probably got messed up because he gave his dad a beating we have yet to witness.

Just saw a very interesting spoiler about this episode. Note: the spoiler contains information about more than one episode's backstory subjects.

Link

Lost is about to go somewhere it never has before: two steps forward, no steps back. Per AintItCoolNews.com, Episode 19 will be 100-percent flashback-free! The hour, says the website's mole, "focuses on one of Season 1's ‘mysteries’ — if that's the right word.” Well, he/she would know. For the record, the flashback lineup for the season's remaining eps is as follows:

• No. 17: Desmond
• No. 18: Jin and Sun
• No. 19: fuhgeddaboudit
• No. 20: Benjamin
• No. 21: Charlie
• And the two-part season finale: Jack, natch

I don't know what to think about the Episode 19 thing!

#20 is interesting!

As for #19, I think what's there in the spoiler is a place-holder because they didn't want to reveal the real episode name. I still think it might be the same as what the OP of this thread said the title was because....

... if it is The Brig, and this is supposed to tie up the Locke/Daddy story with no flashbacks, then it might also go back to Jack seeing his daddy on the island in Season 1, hence the "Season 1 mystery" they refer to? Total speculation there but it's all I can come up with.

Looking forward to this one....
04/16 - A newly focused Locke breaks away from "The Others" in an attempt to persuade Sawyer to help rid them of a great nemesis that has caused nothing but pain in both of their lives. Meanwhile, a new island inhabitant discloses some shocking information about Oceanic Flight 815. Guest starring are M.C. Gainey as Mr. Friendly/Tom, Kevin Tighe as Anthony Cooper, Mira Furlan as Danielle Rousseau, Nestor Carbonell as Richard Alpert, Kimberly Joseph as Cindy and Marsha Thomason as Naomi. Source: ABC

Interesting.

It seems that Locke/Sawyer/daddy connection is panning out. Someone who has "caused nothing but pain in both their lives" -- has to be him doesn't it?

Naomi... isn't that Sayid's girl that he was off looking for? Or is that wrong? That's not who parachuted in, is it?
