Two days ago a friend I met recently at college and became close to revealed an aspect of his present life situation that prompted me to turn to this resource for help and advice. I will refer to him as B.
This year has been tough for him. His father passed away in April, his economical situation is not at its best and his mother, who is divorced to his father and had bipolar disorder, only makes everything worse with the way she aggressively discusses with him sometimes. In spite of this, B has remained strong and always repeats that "we have to stay positive", even if he has to say it with a glint of pain in his eyes.
I pray to God to look after him and I also beg him to keep my non-Christians friends like B in this world at least until the day they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, but since what I heard the day before yesterday I knew I really had to make the most of this weapon God gave us to battle against the Devil.
On the same day B received the news about his father, his mother called him to tell him something important. Apparently, her boyfriend has regular contact with an "entity" and this "entity" gives advice, for example on B and his twin brother's inheritance, and now it demands money as an offering. B is not a Christian and thinks this is all madness of his mother and her boyfriend, but it has already cost him his relationship with his half siblings, children of a former marriage of his father —the entity said they had to cut off any contact with them or they would end up on the street— and it is a torment to him how violent his mother becomes whenever he doesn't want to comply. In the end, however, he has to give in anyway because his mother still maintains him. I also asked him about it and it made me glad and I thank God that he has never had any supernatural experience, even with a mother that has always meddled in the occult.
So my concern about this is if and how much will these demonic demands escalate in the future. I will be very grateful if you could help as well to pray for B and his twin that God protect them from the hand of the Devil, that they can go through any hardship that may step in their way and for me, that God may work me to be a blessing to them and to all my friends who have not met Jesus yet.
