• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I hear many say, i believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins.
Close but no cigar. Jesus died to set us free and to deliver us from Sin. The Grace of God does a work in us to deliver us. Grace does not mean we can do whatever we want as some people claim.

Receiving God's free gift of Eternal Life has no requirements other than to believe in Jesus. How that person lives out their life after they have believed in Jesus. Has no bearing on their eternal destination. This was permanently determined at the moment of belief in Jesus and sin is not a factor.

Its a huge difference saying we can do nothing, and saying we can do whatever we want.

Satan wants the world to think that saying we are saved by grace is saying we can live however we want. that is not so

# 1 My first point is , WHO is MATTHEW 7:13 speaking too ??

# 2 It is speaking to Israel , because of Premise , description and Conclusion .

# 3 Enter ye in THE // HO is a Greek DEFINITE ARTICLE and is pointing to the next Greek word , STRAIT .

# 4 STRAIT // STENOS , is in the GENTIVE CASE , and in the SIGNGULAR , meaning ONLY one Strait Gate .

# 5 This GATE has a name called the LAW OF MOSES ,

#6 The next on is called the WIDE , BROAD ISBTHE that leadeth to DESTRUCTION .

#7 And it also has a NAME called HELL .

# 8 All of the book of MATTHEW is speaking only to Israel and NOT to the BODY of Christ at ALL !!
