Enjoy being Single?

I enjoy being single, and am content being single. I do desire to someday get married to someone I love if it is God's will. But until that happens I can continue enjoying being single and having the independence that comes with that.
So far no one has pressured me about not being single as I've heard tales of from others. And I'm glad about that.
I believe it is good to trust in God and to be content in trusting in him in any situation. That itself is easier said than done at times. But it is something I try to keep in mind.

Some days I enjoy being single, especially when I get to travel, and others I could leave it behind and not miss it. It's something I try not to dwell on because I want God to be my focus but at the same time there is nothing wrong with saying I'd like to be married. Only God knows if that will happen and if not I am certain he will teach me to be content with it. After all, it's better to be single than to marry a man you cannot respect or trust.

coming home to an empty house every day and waking up in one gets old for me, especially since "getting out" is becoming very hard. I enjoyed it in high school as I sat back and watched the chaos of those going in and out of relationships like I did burger king. I don't feel that way too much now but still do to a degree. Single is fun when you can do many things and have lots of hobbies.

Yup, but I'd like to get married one day. I still have some responsibilities to do before "venturing" into that.

I am enjoying being single, it is giving me a chance to work on my relationship with Jesus. However I do miss having someone around to share things with.

I hate being single, but I also have a very strong boundary against online dating. I've been tempted to go against that and set up yet another profile. But I'm strong and I have no idea when or where I'll meet my next date. Could be at work or the next fair, who knows?

In the meantime I'm content to continue to get things resolved in life, and live life to the fullest.
