For I am convinced that neither death nor life,

neither angels nor demons,

neither the present nor the future,

nor any powers,

neither height nor depth,

nor anything else in all creation,

will be able to separate us from the love of God

that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:37-39

Life with Christ is endless love;

without Him it is a loveless end.

Billy Graham

Hello @Bob Wille, how very much God loves us and always wants the very best for us is something that is very important for us to remember :preach:

I think that the scope of His love for us becomes even more astounding when we realize that He loved everyone one of us LONG before we became His sons/daughters by adoption, in fact, long before we even existed. As He tells us,

Jeremiah 31
3 The LORD appeared to us from afar, saying,
“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore I have drawn you with lovingkindness..”

IOW, there was never a time in eternity past when God did not love us, nor will there ever be such a time, now, or forevermore :amen:

I believe that it was this verse, and others like it, that prompted Pastor Charles Spurgeon to write this thought in response (at the end of one of his daily devotionals),

"Everlasting love shall be the pillow for my head this night" ~Morning and Evening, Feb 27th, evening
God bless you :)

--David
p.s. - BTW, this was a great topic for a devotional thread, so thank you for broaching it :oldthumbsup::oldthumbsup:
