I believe we are in the end times. it was red tide, now it seems jelly fish have started breeding in record numbers, they have devistated the Japanese fishing industry, the crown of thorn star fish have done the same, and are eating just about every reef in the world. glaciers are rapidly going away. animal extinction at levels not seen sense the dinosaurs went missing. population is at it's peak. Everybody who's anybody wants to get their own bomb. iran nearly there, and promising to use it on israel. need i go on? i will. Muslims now out number Christians. Western civilization is at a turning point, which will certainly not leave it in tact. if we continue to consume oil at the rate we are, if we continue to fertilize our crops, and use the amount of poisonous pesticides we require to grow our crops. we will change the world dramatically. if we stop now we starve. we will not stop, China has joined us, and is a growing economy, who will require more of these things in the future. perhaps even surpassing us in consumption. so we're not really setting up to slow down. we are a runaway train, and like all runaway trains we are going to crash. according to the market analists it will happen sooner than later. They say the housing market can't go any higher, but guess what the population just went up again.

I agree with Metheliel.

Look at when the first four seals of Rev 6 were opened and compare to Matt 24/Rev 5.

Jesus opened the first four of those seals (wars, famines, plagues, pestilences, persecution) upon His ascension. They have been happening in increasing frequency and intensity (like birth pains) since then.

Rev 5:6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits[fn1] of God sent out into all the earth.
Rev 5:7 He came and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.



Rev 6:1 I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!”



He will open the last 3 seals together in the near future.
