  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I was watching some dogs being trained the other day. The instructor was was giving commands like "stay" "fetch" and so on. Then the instructer gave the most important instruction of all; "Now, praise your dog's!" And it was a delight to see how the dogs responded to a few kind words and a stroke and a pat, just a simple acknowledgment to show they had done well. As I watched these dogs wagging there tails I couldn't help thinking that we human's are not so different. Often all we need to keep us going is just a word of encouragement, a pat on the back or a simple well done. Don't you agree?

(Proverbs 27 v 2)...Let other people praise you-even strangers; never do it yourself.

Our kitties respond well to praise and pets. Sometimes they even like a hug. When they do something really cute and endearing we say. "Good, girl." or Good Boy." They get it.
