Encouragement Thread!

I thought it would be helpful to those that come here for prayer when they are discouraged, to be able to take a bible verse or two and be encouraged by God's Word.

Just post a verse from the Bible that you use when you are down and need to be encouraged. Here, I'll start...


"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness" Isaiah 41:10 KJV

Excellent idea..and I'll just say read my signature! 2 of my favorite. Right now I'd just like to say I'm also praying for our president, leaders, military, and all involved in the war against terrorism, as yet another warning has been issued for the NE US. Thank you God that we as believers have a face to face meeting with you in glory to look forward to, no matter what!
