  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Greater Than Jesus?

(That we), speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head, Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. (Ephesians 4:15-16)

We use our arms, hands, feet, mouths to spread His Gospel: but they are also His.

A breathtaking view of the Kingdom has been shown to us: "He who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." The word for "greater" - "meizona" - does not specify what order of greatness, whether in number, quality, or magnitude. This has been a problem to many Bible students. Surely nothing could outclass the miracles of Jesus in intrinsic omnipotence, such as the raising of Lazarus! But there are two senses in which someone can do greater things than Christ.

Obviously there are some works of His we could never do since He is the Son of God. He only is the Redeemer. He alone could die for the sins of the whole world. The works that He referred to were works of mercy, deliverance, healing, and aid. First, there could be more numerous instances; and second, they could be spread over a wider area. Both took place as the disciples moved out in missionary travel.

For centuries, since the invention of printing and modern technology, far more vast operations can bring results impossible even for Jesus when He was localized in this village, or that town. He was physically limited: but not limited in power! He needed more hands, more voices, more extensions of Himself. That is why we are members of the Body of Christ. We use our arms, our hands, our feet, our mouths to spread His Gospel: but they are also His. This could only be possible through the power of the Spirit. Jesus repeated this emphatically:

"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father... It is to your advantage (Greek: "sympherei" meaning expedient, advantageous) that I go away. For if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you."

This is our basis for the gifts of the Spirit. Allow the Holy Spirit to use you today.

A mountain is an obstacle in life that is blocking your blessing! Notice, Jesus didn't say to talk to God about your mountain - He said you do something about it - use the faith He has given you and command it to be removed according to the WORD OF GOD You do it!!! Pick up the Sword of the Spirit and begin to slash your way to victory, proclaiming the Word of God regarding your healing.
Often, when we are sick or diseased, we "hear" our sickness or symptoms speak negativity or doubt to our minds. Telling us we are not ever going to get well, or "how will you ever get about your business, you're in such bad shape." Or quite possibly convincing us to entertain thoughts of death, or thoughts of total defeat because of the pain. Do not listen to that, it will defeat you. Instead, get back to the Word.

Take a look at Isaiah 54:17 for a word from the Lord regarding this.

No weapon formed against you
shall prosper, And every tongue which
rises against you in judgment you shall
condemn. This is the heritage of the
servants of the LORD, And their
righteousness is from Me," Says
[SIZE=+0]the LORD.[/SIZE]

Sickness is judging you falsely, rise up in faith and condemn those lying negative thoughts with the truth of the Word of God. Refuse to accept it.....Replace those thoughts by meditating on the promises of health and healing from the Word. Saturate your mind with the truth - your inheritance, your birthright - The Word Of God! Begin to see yourself as the Word says - Healed, whole and well!
We do not deny that sickness or disease is present - however, we are denying it the right to stay in our bodies, by receiving the truth of what was purchased for us at Calvary - our blessing!

Third John 2 says, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." John was expressing the very heart of God for your life. "I wish, I pray, I desire more than you can ever imagine, that you prosper, that you be blessed in your family, blessed in your mind, blessed in your life.

I want everything you touch to prosper, and I want you to be in health. I want you to be strong. I made man for wholeness, not for sickness nor for the mental ward. I made man to stand upright and rule and reign in the earth." Hallelujah!

You were made to rule and reign! Sickness, disease, sin, and poverty are not to have the rule over you. Why has the devil struck with sickness and disease?

Because man was made for the glory and honor of God. We were made to reflect the very likeness and presence of the Lord. When you are blessing God and doing what He has called you to do, you are fulfilling your divine purpose in life and God's glory radiates from you. When the devil strikes you, he strikes at God's glory.

Perhaps your calling is to be a mother to your children. Satan has removed more than one mother from this divine calling prematurely, but you and I as believers have the power to stop satan's works. However, we must first come into agreement that it is God's will to heal.

Healing – An Expression of God's Love

Jesus came to free us from the devil's domination, which includes sickness, disease, and infirmity. He came to lift us into abundant life and health. Jesus' compassion motive is revealed again in John 10:10 (AMP): "I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows)."

Jesus' compassion is further enforced in 3 John 2 (AMP): "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in every way and [that your body] may keep well, even as [I know] your soul keeps well and prospers." According to God's Word, "It is appointed unto men once to die" (Heb. 9:27 KJV). Whenever a believer dies, he simply changes clothes. He gets a glorified body and goes immediately into the presence of Jesus. However, it is not the will of God that we spend our entire life with the effects of death latching on to us.

It is God's will that you spend your days with the expression of life and health in your body. You are to be healthy. You are to live until you die. God's will for you is to live every day to its fullest.

Sympathy feels badly for someone and identifies with their situation, while compassion moves to do something about the problem.

Jesus healed because of compassion, and there's a big difference between sympathy and compassion. Sympathy feels badly for someone and identifies with their situation, while compassion moves to do something about the problem. Sympathy is like an automobile in "park," while compassion is in "gear." When you're in gear, you move toward someone.

The traditional view of healing is that Jesus healed sick people to prove He was the Son of God, that miracles were proof of His divinity. If miracles were done just to prove that Jesus was the Son of God, then there is no more need for miracles, because Jesus has proved that He was the divine Son of God. This theological viewpoint is the basis for many Christians rejecting healing for today.

If Jesus' reason was simply to prove who He was, that reason no longer exists, because now we have the written record of what He did. However, if Jesus healed because He was moved with compassion, then His compassion has not changed in 2,000 years. Lamentations 3:22-23 says, "His compassions fail not. They are new every morning." Hurting people can still touch the heart of God. His compassion still flows, and when hurting people release their faith, they will receive from Him.

Your faith has healed you.
Luke 8:48

The Bible says: "A woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for 12 years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind Him and touched the edge of His cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. 'Who touched Me?' Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, 'Master, the people are crowding and pressing against You.' But Jesus said, 'Someone touched Me; I know that power has gone out from Me.' Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and… told why she had touched Him and how she had been instantly healed. Then He said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace'" (Luke 8:43-48 NIV).
Notice three important things in this story:
(1) She did something she'd never done before. She decided to try Jesus. Wise move! Faith means stepping into the unknown and the untried, finding God's grace at work in unexpected ways.
(2) She recognised her moment. She knew that Jesus was visiting her town, and might not be back. There are 'God-moments' in life when you've got to overcome your fear and move out in faith. If you don't, you'll miss them.
(3) She opened the door for others. Up until this time, no one in Scripture had been healed by touching Jesus' garment. So her act of faith opened the door for others. "People brought all their sick to Him and begged Him to let the sick just touch the edge of His cloak, and all who touched Him were healed" (Matthew 14:35-36 NIV). God's looking for people who are willing to break with tradition. When He finds them, He uses them to open doors and new dimensions of His power, so that others might be blessed and made whole.

The Light of the world

My Light shines forth into the darkness.
Those who walk in darkness neither perceive nor understand the Light.
I am the Light of the world.

Those who walk in darkness are blind.
They neither see the Light nor seek to come to the Light.

All, who are Mine, desire My Light and will seek to find it.
All who seek for My Light will find the Light and their eyes will be open.

I have come, Jesus said, that the blind would see.

Once you see the Light, then you can walk in the Light.

The Light of Love, Joy, and Peace, will be manifested in you.

"Across the Knees of Jesus"—God Miraculously Heals Boy of Malaria
by Teresa Neumann : Dec 14, 2008 : David Bell - New Tribes Mission
http://www.ntm.org/news/8611
"No, grandma, don't you see? I am all well again now. The Redeemer Jesus took away my sick and now I am well. Please make me that sago patty right now!"
(Papua, New Guinea)—From New Tribes Mission news comes this testimony of a grandmother, Yagu, and her 4-year-old grandson, Nikodemus, who was severely ill with malaria.

According to the report, Grandma Yagu took her grandson to her home so that the boy's mother, Elis, could get some rest. He was burning up with fever.
[FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]
grammayagu.jpg
[/FONT]
"He was half-sleeping and I laid him near me as I put my sago on the fire before we slept," Yagu told missionaries Mark and Holly Woodard. "I lay down to sleep, but no, Niko just turned and turned. His fever got hotter again and his eyes began to roll back and around like he was fainting. He was slipping in and out, in and out of consciousness. I took him and laid him across my knees.
"I began to talk to our Great Creator out loud. …'O Great Creator Being, our Great Creator Being, please, in the name of our Redeemer Jesus, please God, I put this little boy at Your feet. I lay this little boy across the knees of Jesus, and please God, only You can heal him. You are the true medicine. You and You only can make him well and strong again.'"
Yagu reportedly prayed over and over through the night. "Finally, at the time of the second chicken [in the early morning]" Niko woke up.

"He opened his eyes," said Yagu, "and cried out, 'Jesus!' Then he rolled over and slept some more across my knees. A little while later his fever went and he broke into a cold sweat. He rolled over and then he just sat right up and said, 'Grandma, okay, I am hungry now. Please get me a sago patty.'
"I told him, 'You wait, Niko, you rest first and lay here until you get your good strength back. You have been very sick.' He said, 'No, grandma, don't you see? I am all well again now. The Redeemer Jesus took away my sick and now I am well. Please make me that sago patty right now!'"
Says reporter David Bell: "Yagu's faith has made a huge change in her life. Formally, she was a very strong, brazen woman, known for her loud mouth and the way she would stand on the river shore and yell in anger at anyone that had done her wrong. She came to understand and believe the Gospel in April and is now known for the gentle way she comes alongside of people and starts a conversation. Her gift is discipleship and she is often seen sitting beside a younger woman, listening to her story, and then telling her the stories of the Redeemer."

(Lafayette, Indiana)—A man in Lafayette, Indiana, frustrated with attempts to ban nativity scenes from public places, has thought of an innovative way to circumvent the problem. He has built a nativity in the back of his pick-up truck. (Photo: ABC News)

Calling it a "Mobile Nativity," the unidentified man can be found simply parking his vehicle in front of government buildings where people can enjoy the display.

Michael Reynolds with Extreme Prophetic: "Living in the Best"
by Michael Reynolds
Dec 27, 2008

Intro by Patricia King:

Michael Reynolds is "extremely prophetic!" Along with being an accomplished attorney, Michael is a faithful team member with Extreme Prophetic in Phoenix, Arizona. His humble spirit, passionate devotion to Christ, and joyful, positive outlook ministers refreshment to many.
Michael moves in the prophetic, healing, miracles, and signs and wonders, expressing the love of Christ.
Patricia King

Living in the Best

God has already given all of us His best. Receive it now freely.
The Holy Spirit has been speaking to me about how Christians are to live and respond in times when the "world economic and political systems" seem (in the natural) to be falling apart. In the "natural" realm, America appears to be in the midst of heavy political and economic turmoil. This has led some Believers to be anxious about the future.

I have good news, however, for every Christian reading this: Be at peace! From God's heavenly perspective, in His economy, in His Kingdom, according to His Word and in His love, all is well. In fact, it's great! We are living in the best of all times on Heaven and on Earth. And God is excited about the next season for His Body. The shift has happened. He has come to us. He brings His economy and His Kingdom to earth and to every Believer willing to receive His blessings.

God recently said to me, "I have given you My best." When we are in Christ, we are literally in the best place that God has to offer. We really can have it all. We have the best. There is no second place. No lack or want. The awesome God of love looks upon His children and says again and again, "Give them the best of everything I possess in My Kingdom."

Receiving the Best in a Time of Famine

"And Joseph placed his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best of the land, in the land of Rameses, as Pharaoh had commanded." Genesis 47:11
Even in the land of Egypt, during a time of famine, Joseph and his family still possessed the best of the land. Joseph always looked at his situation from God's heavenly perspective. Some called him a dreamer. Some even persecuted the favorite son, but he always knew in his heart that he was favored and nothing could change this fact.

Nothing could separate Joseph from God's love. This sustained Joseph in the land of Rameses. God's absolute and unchanging favor fulfilled Joseph's destiny in God. Genesis 47:13 says that the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan "fainted by reason of the famine." Some fainted by the appearance of tribulation and economic distress. But Joseph only saw promotion, opportunity and abundance. He saw the best.

1. The Best Bread from Heaven: Economic Provision and Blessings Are Here Now

Joseph not only provided his family with the best land, he also "nourished his father, and his brethren" with the best bread (see Genesis 47:12). We too are nourished daily by the freshest, best bread that comes straight from Heaven. We are nourished by "the Bread of Life."

"For the bread of God is that which cometh down from Heaven, and giveth life unto the world" (John 6:33). This type of bread is beyond eating well, it is daily bread from God's heavenly realm. Jesus instructed us to pray for our daily bread. And it is given to us every day. So we never hunger, we never thirst and we never lack.

"Jesus said unto them, 'I am the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall not hunger, and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst" (John 6:35). Bread means more than heavenly and earthly provision, it also means intimacy with Christ that sustains us. Bread is part of our communion with Him. We cannot be a part of Christ without eating the Bread of Heaven. And of course, what is even better than the best bread? It's when the bread is mixed with the best wine from Heaven!

2. Dreaming of the Best Heavenly Wine: Spiritual Empowerment in 2009

"And thy mouth (is) like the best wine, that goeth down smoothly for my beloved, gliding through the lips of those that are asleep." Song of Solomon 7:9

Recently, I dreamed of bread and wine. And as I dreamed, the Holy Spirit said: "I have saved the best for last." So I tasted the goodness of the Lord and I drank my full of the best tasting spiritual substance ever! Wow! He is all good. I continued to see not only myself feasting, but saw many Christians feasting at the great wedding feast, where once again, Jesus could only deliver the best! Wine speaks of the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit visiting His people in power, in joy and in love in 2009.
"And when the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and knew not whence it was (but the servants that had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast calleth the bridegroom, and saith unto him, 'Every man setteth on first the good wine; and when men have drunk freely, then that which is worse: thou hast kept the best wine until now.' This beginning of His signs did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed on Him." John 2:9-11

When God gives us His best, He manifests His glory and His goodness. His glory is all that is wonderful and majestic and awesome about Him. And in the case of our nation, God has saved the best for last. So it's time to get ready to be blessed! Because a shift has happened in the Spirit.

3. The Best Robe for a Prodigal Nation: America, Get Ready for Heaven Visiting Earth

In the natural, it didn't look very good for a certain prodigal child, who was smelling like pigs and mud as he walked back home to father with his head down. This is a prophetic picture of some American Believers. We are now pondering walking back to our strong, Christian spiritual roots in the midst of a prodigal Nation. And there is a loving Father just waiting to place His best robes on us and put a royal signet ring on our finger.
And yet, some just stand in the midst of tribulation with their heads hung low. But look up! Can't you see the Father running to the Body of Christ in America with love and compassion, just waiting to give all of us His best? But like the prodigal, we say that we are not worthy of His unconditional love. But the opposite is true from the perspective of the Father.

"I am no more worthy to be called your son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But while he was yet afar off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. And the son said unto him, 'Father, I have sinned against Heaven, and in thy sight: I am no more worthy to be called thy son'. But the father said to his servants, 'Bring forth quickly the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: and bring the fatted calf, and kill it, and let us eat, and make merry...'" Luke 15:19-23

I wrestled with this in my spirit and asked Jesus, "Is the Body of Christ in America really like the humble prodigal who simply wants to come home?" Aren't we sometimes proud, arrogant and self-righteous? And I heard the Lord say, "No. Not now. There is a shift. I gave you a righteous inheritance from the foundation of your Nation and you spent all of it, but I am restoring My best spiritual inheritance back to you in 2009."

This does not mean that the world or our nation will be immune from the natural consequences of sin. But Believers are not natural. We are supernatural. We are born of the Spirit, we are adopted as spiritual children of God, and we are not subject to the realms of natural law. We have already overcome! So cheer up! We are welcome into the heavenly mansion realms where we receive true riches and true bliss. The natural world and everything around it could collapse, but we must still receive the best. Why? Because our God is good.

We Already Have It All

We have Jesus and the Kingdom and every spiritual blessing in heavenly places. In other words, we have it all. So I say, "Bring on the fatted calf and let's all eat and make merry." The bread and wine are free. And to those faithful servants who have labored for the Lord through hardship and distress for many, many years, don't just labor in vain without also receiving the Father's inheritance. Come on in to the party. It's free for us, because Jesus paid the ultimate price of admission for all of us who believe.

Of course, the Father sees the "natural" state of America, but He has great love for His people. Mercy always triumphs over judgment. The love displayed at the Cross by Jesus is so much more powerful than any created power or force. The Cross is a sign of victory, not defeat. Can a nation be saved in a day? You bet. And will we return to our true spiritual roots? Just look up. Can you see Daddy running toward us?

Look at the path ahead. There is nowhere else to go, but closer to God. So cast off all natural burdens and fly into the arms of our loving Father with overwhelming joy! We have arisen and in 2009, we have begun the humbling walk back home. We have tried it every way in America, but now we have no choice. Our inheritance is waiting for us. We think we've finally blown it. But we have not.

All He has is still ours. Again and again and again, He will always reach out His extended, far-reaching hand of love and give us His best. And we won't need to walk far because our loving heavenly Father is running towards us with tears flowing down His cheek, saying, "Here you go, sons and daughters of America, all I have is yours once again."

In America, 2009 will be the year that God will seek and find His children in the midst of tribulation and distress and will place us in the middle of heavenly mansions to freely dine and celebrate with Him. It will also be the year where He pours out His Holy Spirit like never before. Do we deserve it? I'll leave that to the theologians. I may not "deserve" it, but who cares? Jesus has already given me an invitation to dine with Him and I am ready to party! So, bring on the fatted calf. Bring on the bread and wine. And let's have the best party ever!!

Get ready Body of Christ, because the best is yet to come!! In fact, the best is here. It is now.

As I was sitting in church last night.. the LORD was speaking to me.. I don't think it had anything to do with what was going on that I know but of course so much more is going on then we can see.. and everything seems to be connected in some way.. :)

We were singing a song.. and it came to me.. that many do not receive.. because they give up before the LORD works it all out.. HE is faithful to keep HIS promises.. but we give up.. Time, circumstances.. what we see etc.. erodes away our hope till we think it must not be GODS will or desire for us..

For me, myself.. It is healing that I have been praying about.. for myself.. also prayer for a loved one.. a person very special to me to know JESUS.. and the latter has been for a very long time.. or so it seems..

But as I sat there.. I realised that if God said certain things in HIS word that spoke to me about such.. He was going to do what HE said.. no matter what I saw, heard or felt..

That is absolute truth.. :)

And actually it was the circumstances that were lying to me.. all I had to do was remain faithful to believe and seek the LORD on these things.. stand firm and let nothing move me and because I had asked.. I would receive..

WOW amazing.. What astounds me most of all.. is that this just came to me like that.. I wasn't pondering it.. wasn't reading scriptures.. wasn't being particularly holy etc.. but God was there.. reminding me.. of who HE is.. that HE will never fail.. and I can take hold of that and stand firm as is needed.. and let not my situations move me so that I give up!!

Praise the LORD!!

I love it when He does that.
Last week I shown a sentence.
What was amazing was a word He used, that I never even heard of.
"venerated"
I looked up venerate and it means worship, adore.
When He does things like that I know it has to be from Him.

Faith is confidence, Hearing the Word gives us supernatural confidence.

1. Mark 2:5
And when Jesus saw their faith [their confidence in God through Him], He said to the paralyzed man, Son, your sins are forgiven [you] and put away [that is, the penalty is remitted, the sense of guilt removed, and you are made upright and in right standing with God].
2. Mark 5:34
And He said to her, Daughter, your faith (your trust and confidence in Me, springing from faith in God) has restored you to health. Go in (into) peace and be continually healed and freed from your [ distressing bodily] disease.
3. Mark 10:24
And the disciples were amazed and bewildered and perplexed at His words. But Jesus said to them again, Children, how hard it is for those who trust (place their confidence, their sense of safety) in riches to enter the kingdom of God!
4. Luke 5:20
And when He saw [their confidence in Him, springing from] their faith, He said, Man, your sins are forgiven you!
5. Luke 8:25
And He said to them, [Why are you so fearful?] Where is your faith (your trust, your confidence in Me--in My veracity and My integrity)? And they were seized with alarm and profound and reverent dread, and they marveled, saying to one another, Who then is this, that He commands even wind and sea, and they obey Him?
6. Luke 8:48
And He said to her, Daughter, your faith (your confidence and trust in Me) has made you well! Go (enter) into peace ( untroubled, undisturbed well-being).
7. Luke 17:5
The apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith (that trust and confidence that spring from our belief in God).
8. Luke 17:6
And the Lord answered, If you had faith (trust and confidence in God) even [so small] like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, Be pulled up by the roots, and be planted in the sea, and it would obey you.
9. Luke 17:19
And He said to him, Get up and go on your way. Your faith (your trust and confidence that spring from your belief in God) has restored you to health.
10. Luke 18:42
And Jesus said to him, Receive your sight! Your faith ( your trust and confidence that spring from your faith in God) has healed you.
11. John 16:33
I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]
12. Acts 13:41
Look, you scoffers and scorners, and marvel and perish and vanish away; for I am doing a deed in your days, a deed which you will never have confidence in or believe, [even] if someone [ clearly describing it in detail] declares it to you.
13. Acts 15:7
And after there had been a long debate, Peter got up and said to them, Brethren, you know that quite a while ago God made a choice or selection from among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the message of the Gospel [concerning the attainment through Christ of salvation in the kingdom of God] and believe (credit and place their confidence in it).
14. Acts 24:14
But this I confess to you, however, that in accordance with the Way [of the Lord], which they call a [heretical, division-producing] sect, I worship (serve) the God of our fathers, still persuaded of the truth of and believing in and placing full confidence in everything laid down in the Law [of Moses] or written in the prophets;
15. Acts 26:26
For the king understands about these things well enough, and [therefore] to him I speak with bold frankness and confidence. I am convinced that not one of these things has escaped his notice, for all this did not take place in a corner [in secret].
16. Acts 27:25
So keep up your courage, men, for I have faith (complete confidence) in God that it will be exactly as it was told me;
17. 2 Corinthians 3:4
Such is the reliance and confidence that we have through Christ toward and with reference to God.
18. 2 Corinthians 7:4
I have great boldness and free and fearless confidence and cheerful courage toward you; my pride in you is great. I am filled [brimful] with the comfort [of it]; with all our tribulation and in spite of it, [I am filled with comfort] I am overflowing with joy.
19. 2 Corinthians 7:16
I am very happy because I now am of good courage and have perfect confidence in you in all things.
20. 2 Corinthians 8:22
Moreover, along with them we are sending our brother, whom we have often put to the test and have found him zealous (devoted and earnest) in many matters, but who is now more [eagerly] earnest than ever because of [his] absolute confidence in you.
21. Galatians 5:10
[For my part] I have confidence [toward you] in the Lord that you will take no contrary view of the matter but will come to think with me. But he who is unsettling you, whoever he is, will have to bear the penalty.
22. Ephesians 1:12
So that we who first hoped in Christ [who first put our confidence in Him have been destined and appointed to] live for the praise of His glory!
23. Ephesians 3:12
In Whom, because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear).
24. Philippians 1:7
It is right and appropriate for me to have this confidence and feel this way about you all, because you have me in your heart and I hold you in my heart as partakers and sharers, one and all with me, of grace (God's unmerited favor and spiritual blessing). [This is true] both when I am shut up in prison and when I am out in the defense and confirmation of the good news (the Gospel).
25. Philippians 1:14
And [also] most of the brethren have derived fresh confidence in the Lord because of my chains and are much more bold to speak and publish fearlessly the Word of God [acting with more freedom and indifference to the consequences].
26. Philippians 3:3
For we [Christians] are the true circumcision, who worship God in spirit and by the Spirit of God and exult and glory and pride ourselves in Jesus Christ, and put no confidence or dependence [on what we are] in the flesh and on outward privileges and physical advantages and external appearances--
27. Colossians 1:4
For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus [ the leaning of your entire human personality on Him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness] and of the love which you [have and show] for all the saints (God's consecrated ones),
28. Colossians 2:5
For though I am away from you in body, yet I am with you in spirit, delighted at the sight of your [standing shoulder to shoulder in such] orderly array and the firmness and the solid front and steadfastness of your faith in Christ [that leaning of the entire human personality on Him in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].
29. 1 Thessalonians 1:8
For not only has the Word concerning and from the Lord resounded forth from you unmistakably in Macedonia and Achaia, but everywhere the report has gone forth of your faith in God [of your leaning of your whole personality on Him in complete trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness]. So we [find that we] never need to tell people anything [further about it].
30. 1 Thessalonians 3:7
Brethren, for this reason, in [spite of all] our stress and crushing difficulties we have been filled with comfort and cheer about you [because of] your faith ( the leaning of your whole personality on God in complete trust and confidence).
31. 2 Thessalonians 1:11
With this in view we constantly pray for you, that our God may deem and count you worthy of [your] calling and [His] every gracious purpose of goodness, and with power may complete in [your] every particular work of faith (faith which is that leaning of the whole human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness).
32. 2 Thessalonians 3:4
And we have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you are doing and will continue to do the things which we suggest and with which we charge you.
33. 1 Timothy 1:4
Nor to give importance to or occupy themselves with legends (fables, myths) and endless genealogies, which foster and promote useless speculations and questionings rather than acceptance in faith of God's administration and the divine training that is in faith ( in that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence)--
34. 1 Timothy 1:19
Holding fast to faith ( that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence) and having a good (clear) conscience. By rejecting and thrusting from them [their conscience], some individuals have made shipwreck of their faith.
35. 1 Timothy 3:13
For those who perform well as deacons acquire a good standing for themselves and also gain much confidence and freedom and boldness in the faith which is [founded on and centers] in Christ Jesus.
36. 2 Timothy 1:5
I am calling up memories of your sincere and unqualified faith (the leaning of your entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), [a faith] that first lived permanently in [the heart of] your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am [fully] persuaded, [dwells] in you also.
37. 2 Timothy 2:11
The saying is sure and worthy of confidence: If we have died with Him, we shall also live with Him.
38. 2 Timothy 3:15
And how from your childhood you have had a knowledge of and been acquainted with the sacred Writings, which are able to instruct you and give you the understanding for salvation which comes through faith in Christ Jesus [through the leaning of the entire human personality on God in Christ Jesus in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].
39. Hebrews 3:6
But Christ (the Messiah) was faithful over His [own Father's] house as a Son [and Master of it]. And it is we who are [now members] of this house, if we hold fast and firm to the end our joyful and exultant confidence and sense of triumph in our hope [in Christ].
40. Hebrews 3:14
For we have become fellows with Christ (the Messiah) and share in all He has for us, if only we hold our first newborn confidence and original assured expectation [in virtue of which we are believers] firm and unshaken to the end.
41. Hebrews 4:2
For indeed we have had the glad tidings [Gospel of God] proclaimed to us just as truly as they [the Israelites of old did when the good news of deliverance from bondage came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not mixed with faith (with the leaning of the entire personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness) by those who heard it; neither were they united in faith with the ones [Joshua and Caleb] who heard (did believe).
42. Hebrews 6:12
In order that you may not grow disinterested and become [spiritual] sluggards, but imitators, behaving as do those who through faith (by their leaning of the entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness ) and by practice of patient endurance and waiting are [now] inheriting the promises.
43. Hebrews 10:19
Therefore, brethren, since we have full freedom and confidence to enter into the [Holy of] Holies [by the power and virtue] in the blood of Jesus,
44. Hebrews 10:22
Let us all come forward and draw near with true (honest and sincere) hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction engendered by faith (by that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), having our hearts sprinkled and purified from a guilty (evil) conscience and our bodies cleansed with pure water.
45. Hebrews 10:35
Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward.
46. Hebrews 11:28
By faith (simple trust and confidence in God) he instituted and carried out the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood [on the doorposts], so that the destroyer of the firstborn (the angel) might not touch those [of the children of Israel].
47. Hebrews 13:7
Remember your leaders and superiors in authority [for it was they] who brought to you the Word of God. Observe attentively and consider their manner of living (the outcome of their well-spent lives) and imitate their faith ( their conviction that God exists and is the Creator and Ruler of all things, the Provider and Bestower of eternal salvation through Christ, and their leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness).
48. James 2:13
For to him who has shown no mercy the judgment [will be] merciless, but mercy [full of glad confidence] exults victoriously over judgment.
49. 2 Peter 3:14
So, beloved, since you are expecting these things, be eager to be found by Him [at His coming] without spot or blemish and at peace [in serene confidence, free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts].
50. 1 John 2:28
And now, little children, abide (live, remain permanently) in Him, so that when He is made visible, we may have and enjoy perfect confidence (boldness, assurance) and not be ashamed and shrink from Him at His coming.
51. 1 John 3:21
And, beloved, if our consciences (our hearts) do not accuse us [if they do not make us feel guilty and condemn us], we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God,
52. 1 John 4:17
In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.
53. 1 John 5:14
And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us.
54. Revelation 22:6
And he [of the seven angels further] said to me, These statements are reliable (worthy of confidence) and genuine (true). And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His messenger (angel) to make known and exhibit to His servants what must soon come to pass.

I want to encourage as many people to read John 9. It's the story of Jesus healing the blind man from birth! The 39th verse is particularly interesting to me. I am just believing that the Lord is in 2009 is opening our eyes to more of Him, I'm belieiving in that the Spirit is placing mud on our eyes so that we can see, see beyond religion and encounter a love relationship with Jesus!

Hello friend!
I was very encouraged to read your comment posted on my blog.
I'm looking for a little encouragement myself or at least an outside opinion. (Iron sharpens Iron)
For the past 7-8 years I have been spending time with the Lord between 4-6am. During this time I read, and I write out my prayers. It has been a phenominal time getting to build my relationship with the Lord.

As a result, I have at times had the priviledge of writing out prophetic words to friends, and to our church. These moments are incredible, and very different at the same time.

Lately I have come to realize through encouragement I have recieved from family and friends, and most recently through a prophetic class that I took in the fall. That these many words are for the greater church. The question I had, "Ok how do I deliver them to the greater church? so they can be tested?"

I felt the Lord telling me that my blog was an excellent way of communicating!
I was wondering if you would be kind enough to visit my blog, where I have posted a portion of this word, (it was fairly lengthly) word that I wrote on Oct 12, 2008. Would you or any others be willing to at least read it and pass along any comments you might have? I have many other words in my journal, I've been journaling for 7-8 years!

Thank you I would appreciate any assistance!!
God Bless
