so what's new and exciting?

Took my son to see SWIII ROTS on Saturday. When we got home we wanted to watch ANH and my wife had loaned it out because a neighbor saw ROTS the day earlier and had the same idea.

The SW junkies at church went to see SW3 over the weekend. They said they were dissappointed.

You got lucky - my son wants to watch 1 - 2 - 4 - 5 - 6 before he goes - all this week!

he watched 2 last night. 5 & 6 are still borrowed. we'll get to them

Why were they disappointed?

I think they expected more of a story line???
Not too sure - they said it was a bit of an anticlimax of the long wait.

I'm still looking forward to going however!

no critical comments about how it was anti this or anti that? I didn't consider some aspects of the movies until I read some of the hobbies forum posts.

I thought it was great. a coupla spots with no dry eyes in the theater.. I guess different spots for different people, but there were quite a few.

I'm sure he cut out a lot of scenes that may have made it too long for most people

I'm still looking forward to it. I think my mate was just too expectant. I'm sure if he will be watching it again this Week (he does watch movies more than once) and will be more satisifed.
