I know just what you mean my housework never seems to get done when I am on cf,don't know why?

I am asking as I finally took some pictiures with my digi camera.Two are of a storm that lasted about two mins.Typical British weather!Sunny and raining at the same time.Although it didn't rain with this one it thundered and we had hail stones' but no rain.

I would love to get a picture of lightning I remember I treid one night, used like one min shutter and NO luck and a whole roll of film in my SLR.

I got the glow but could not line up the lighning bolt ie it would flash in the sky were I did not point the camera even though I used 28mm lens

Yeah.. not too easy to time right. Gotta get a good fierce storm.

I think the easiest would be one of those fast approaching storms, but taking a pic before it gets to you.

The night I treid was more like a distand storm we don't get many bad ones here, and when we do it's always over the other side of the city LOL
