I used to like Eminem, I used to like his songs, I even liked his outspokeness. Then his cursing started to get very irritating to me, and then his lyrics in general got annoying. After those two were gone, it wasn't long before his political statements made me want to bash my head in. Seriously, he's no better than any other sellout in Hollywood. Just my opinion, so you can take it or leave it, though noticing the political tendencies of most people in this forum, I'm guessing most will leave it, but more power to ya I guess. :)

The video is ok. I personally think M and M is just jumping on the political bandwagon because it's cool to knock the government right now. Before this, he's been content to sing about himself and his problems, and if anyone else had issues, then **** them.

He still is rapping about himself and his problems. Having Bush in the White House for four more years affects us all (including Marshall Mathers). He has a little brother, whom he does not want to see shipped off to fight this lunatic's war.

I'm very proud of Em for standing up for his opinions. He knew he'd take some flack for this. But, hey, he's taken a lot worse.

I like the video. I really like the song.

IMPO, Bush scared Em into growing up (just a little). Rather a tough feat if you ask me, since no one (not even people with guns pointed right at him) had done that so far.

I've never been a rap music fan, even less an Eminem fan.

My husband and I saw the video for the first time last week. We both were nearly in tears at the end. I guess you have to be of a certain politcal persuasion to be that affected by it, but he and I were very moved and felt it was a powerful expression of a huge number of people in this country. I agree, Eminem seems to have matured -- even if he thought about this song in the mercenary sense, it would definitely signal a transition of his writing to thinking about issues outside of himself to the world around him.

Good on him. This is what good music is about.

I've seen the video and heard the song, and I don't care much for it. It seems when musicians begin discussing politics, it becomes evident that they don't really know what is going on. I understand that Eminem is against the war, but NO AMERICAN has been forced into going to war. The video is clearly a shot at Bush (considering that it was released right before the election, and that Eminem has made it clear that he voted for, and supported, Kerry). If anything, our country would have been more at danger for a draft if Kerry were elected, because of the strong support of Bush by our military personnel. If Kerry believed that we shouldn't be at war, how would he be able to keep the volunteers signing up for combat? If he pulled out too quickly, Iraq would fall to anarchy. Just my opinion...

First thing Eminem has ever put out that's made me say "amen."
I would've said "amen" to it but political videos annoy me. Any political song from Toby Keith to Eminem is usually poorly made.
