CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Agreed. The only rap I can listen to on a consistant basis without becomming violently ill is the Beastie Boys, to whom the entire world of rap owes its very life.Diane_Windsor said:

It is all starting to sound the same, although its not really my thing i thinks he keeps doing stupid things to stay in the charts and stuff, lets face it, if he didn't swear and sing about the things he sings about would you still listen to him?

i think it's dumb with each new album, in order to generate hype, he releases a single that makes fun of celebrities.

Some of his music, like, say, Stan, Sing for the moment, Cleaning our my closet and Mosh are brilliant. Other tracks, like, say, My Band (admittedly all of D12 are to blame for this) or Just Lose it can be pretty annoying, even though they are a pretty good laugh and fairly decent.
