EMERGENCY PRAYER REQUEST!

Apparently, I didn't learn from my RCIA disaster, because last night, I acted cowardly again! I was helping out someone on her blog, when this modernist made this very erroneous and damaging comment, I considered saying something, but decided to ignore it. It was not until late that it sunk in, that I should have said something! I went back to the blog, but it was too late, the conversion had moved on to something else, so I gave up and went to bed. Immediately, the whole thing started to blowing up in my face, just like the RCIA fiasco! Basically I acted cowardly between myself and God, and went through several episodes in which I nearly fell into mortal sin. Please pray that I receive courage to do the right thing, and speak the truth in love. And stop acting so cowardly and having things blow up in my face because of it.

I'm going to try and go to confession tomorrow, so that I don't have to go to confession, Please pray for that also.

Don't worry about this one. Keyboard warriors are amazing but the truth is, you can't fight every battle. You went with your first instinct and that may turn out to be the CORRECT answer in the long run anyway! Your prayer request for courage will be undertaken by many. Give yourself a pat on the back for turning the other cheek sometimes! I don't believe you have a confession in there, however, if you think that'll help your relationship with the Most High, go ahead. I'll pray for you, too.

I wasn't like that, the girl in question appeared to be open to the Catholic Faith, I wasn't sure how open, so I just gave her general advice at first. However, this modernist came up and basically said "Hey, the Catholic Church is cool, but you can seek God anyway you like, it's not like John 6:35-69 is true!"

It's okay. That person's personal decision towards the Church is influenced by God's grace, and ultimately, they will make their decision as a result of that grace, and not because of anything that anyone else tells them. Say a prayer for them and turn them over to God. And as for internet evangelism, it's a good ministry, but you have to pace yourself. 16, 17 years ago, I was on this forum for literally hours every day, correcting errors, giving encouragement, etc.; but it burned me out real quick. You can't address every problem, all the time. Allow yourself time to breathe.

Will pray for you brother. You need to find it in yourself to forgive yourself and that modernist person if you have any negative feeling towards him. I don't know your situation very well but you could share a nice praise tune with her on her blog. That might spark another conversation. Or could at least cheer her up.
