What did you mean by this post?
bhsmte: Evolution has nothing to do with the origins of life.
WinePress777: It does to an evolutionist.
Are YOU following this thread? I never made that claim. You need to keep track of who you are talking to.Are you following this thread?
If you can not demonstrate that evolutionists use the theory of evolution to describe how life originated, than it is an empty claim you are making.

And that distance verify's time.Glad you brought that up. That distance depends on time. You seem to be going loopti loop circular on us here!
Yup! Just like gravity. Just a theory. I'm not going to go through it because I know you have been explained the difference between general layman's theory and a scientific theory a gizillion times. If you wish to play ignorant to what a scientific theory is and describes, that's your problem.Well if you do simply explain it in a paragraph or two so we all will understand. The link I posted showed that it was a theory. A way that we try to explain stars and explosions etc.
An understanding of basic spectroscopy would go a long way in helping you understand that you struck out with a straight pitch and curve ball. Simply put, specific light waves of the electromagnetic spectrum are absorbed at specific wave-lengths, which identifies the specific isotope, molecule, or compound. In the case of the SN1987A, it was the gamma-ray portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that was being observed. What was measured were individual isotopes and their concentration with respect to time and distance which reveals their lifetime (decay rate). I utilized the same process as a professional chemist for over 25 years. The only difference being that the part of the electromagnetic spectrum I utilized in measurements was between the infrared and ultraviolet wavelengths, rather than the gamma-ray portion, what I was measuring. The chemistry and physics are the same.I must admit you threw me a curve ball and I am still regaining balance. However I have been through many of those in the past, and always am thankful for them. They usually lead to a deeper understanding, and new truths.
I didn't say it did. What does any of this have to do with what I DID post??Because WE wanted YOU to explain WHY you THOUGHT that evoLUtion has anything to do with the origin of life.
Do you feel I am being unkind to you? Perhaps I should spell out my points for you.I always imagined that Deists were kind people!
Winepress, your remark was ... to me ... an innocent one.Why did YOU reply to MY post, "Evolution has nothing to do with the origins of life."
What did you expressing that have to do with my post?

This is my post;
"I'm unable to handle a conversation very long with Christians who claim God age-embedded fossils to fit their unscriptural theology.
Probably about as long as I can handle an evolutionist pushing his religion of spontaneous life erupting and morphing on it's own...
I'd rather preach Christ"
Then, all the sudden, somebody started telling me to prove evolution... "forehead slap"
Winepress, your remark was ... to me ... an innocent one.
But, as I learned when I first joined this site, evolutionists have detached abiogenesis from evolution and made them two separate doctrines.
They now consider the idea that abiogenesis can't explain evolution to be a PRATT.
Thus the old adage: "Evolution can explain survival of the fittest, but it can't explain arrival of the fittest" has been effectively neutralized.
A lot of young knee jerk responses don't help... this topic is comical at best.Winepress, your remark was ... to me ... an innocent one.

Either way -- they are considered two different doctrines. Why would abiogenesis have to be detached from evolution, if it was never a part of the theory?
If you could explain that, it may be helpful.
If it isn't obvious now, I answered a post that answered my post with a pointless statement about what evolutionists believe. Who cares what they believe? I answered it truthfully, that "evolutionists believe it is true". Then somebody started telling me to prove it LOL! It's like a circus hereRead again, your post #1314 and maybe that will clear things up for you.
Then, if you could, explain and support what you meant by the statement you made in post #1314.
I'll have to take your word on that.As they should be and always have been, despite your statements that they were at some point; separated.
