She probably opened a spirit gateway and unfamiliar spirits spoke to her rapidly and she translated the angelic words in many books.
Mitt Romney's Founder of Mormonism said that an unfamiliar angel told him the all the other denomination's creeds are an abomination to God.
Ms white calims the those that worship the Lord on Sundays have the mark of the devil.

All those books are worthless to many.

Flee for you spiritual lives from them! There is only One Book we should be interested in

Kindgdom Bible Studies Lambs Book of Life Part 1

"And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his heads the names of blasphemy. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world" (Rev. 13:1,8).
According to the Emphatic Diaglott the correct rendering of the latter part of this passage is: "The Book of the Life of the Lamb." Now, what is meant by this term – THE BOOK OF THE LIFE OF THE LAMB? The wise man said, "...of the making of many books there is no end..." (Eccl. 12:12).

The book stores are filled to overflowing today with all types of books dealing with every aspect of earthly life. Even in the church world there are books setting forth every kind of viewpoint relating to God, the Bible, doctrine, Christian experience, and church order. However the subject material of most of these books largely contains a message of religious tradition and spiritual death.
But God is also producing a book – a book containing a message of life. For the past two millenniums God, by His Holy Spirit, has been writing portions of this Book in the minds and hearts of His people.

Actually, it has been shown that she plagiarized other authors, oftentimes at great length.

I started this thread because it is so difficult to get a clear statement of belief from our SDA interlocutors without also getting some peculiar collection of edited quotes from non-SDA sources that allegedly support SDA views (in actual fact the edited quotes do not support SDA views). So I am working my way through Ellen White's chapter on the sabbath and I quoted the back of the book because it supplied some information about Ellen White's literary output.

By the way, I didn't buy any of Ellen White's books, the one from which I'm quoting was given to me anonymously (in my mail box) - presumably by an SDA as part of their evangelistic efforts.

Opened a spirit gateway???----oh, yah, now that is really scriptural. You got to go to every hospital and talk to the families of all those who have had injuries and warn them about this spirit gateway--hurry!!---Times a wasting!!
Having been in the medical field for over 27 years, I've been around a lot of head injuries--not a one opened any door to a spirit world--what most frequently happens, is that the patient starts using really foul language--
It is sometimes quite shocking to families to have their little old sainted grandmother using language that will make a sailor blush. Many husbands have been amazed that their spouse even knew such language--and even children will do it--it does go away. There is no record of her doing that.
Those that worship on Sunday to not have the mark of the devil--she did not say that--when talking about the mark of the beast, that mark does not happen until a decree is sent out that all who do not have the mark of the beast can not buy or sell--it is only then that the mark of the beast goes into effect--hasn't happened yet-It's amazing hoiw much missinformation is spouted here as truth--It has been proven she could not be charged with plagerism, any more than the bible writers can be charged with plagerism whenever they quoted from another book other than their own and not even mention where the quote came from--including Jesus--get real--
Her message was first given to others--they refused, at first to accept it. A black man was given the same messages, and he refused because he did not think a black man would be listened to, he later wrote about it and verified it was the same, she was not the first, she was the first to fully accept her calling. All this has all been mentioned before but people only listen to the nonsense--fine--don't buy the books, nobody is pointing a gun to you head and making you do so!
Angels have appeared to many--the children of Fatima, was that from the spirit world? There are many religions who claim to have had messages from God--the Catholic church is full of them, they hold the record, and they make saints out of them--nobody gets upset about that--but one little old lady sure get's people to fuming, most whom have never read anything by her--interesting.

Just what in sams hill is an SDA interlocutor??---Never heard that term used for us before. Difficult to get a clear statement of belief from us??---You got to be kidding me--can't shut us up--we're out there, loud, and clear and with God knows how many books--alot of them written by non SDA's who claim they know the truth and they will print articles she supposedly wrote when she never did.
Keep on reading Coffee--she grows on you!!

Upon one Sabbath day, as the Saviour and His disciples returned from the place of worship, they passed through a field of ripening grain. Jesus had continued His work to a late hour, and while passing through the fields, the disciples began to gather the heads of grain, and to eat the kernels after rubbing them in their hands. On any other day this act would have excited no comment, for one passing through a field of grain, an orchard, or a vineyard, was at liberty to gather what he desired to eat. See Deut. 23:24, 25. But to do this on the Sabbath was held to be an act of desecration. Not only was the gathering of the grain a kind of reaping, but the rubbing of it in the hands was a kind of threshing. Thus, in the opinion of the rabbis, there was a double offense.

The spies at once complained to Jesus, saying, "Behold, Thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the Sabbath day." (THE DESIRE OF AGES by Ellen White, The Sabbath, page 284)
The above paragraphs (the second is very short so I included two paragraphs in this post) recite in Ellen White's words the story told in Matthew 12:1-8
At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. Matthew 12:1-8

When thou comest into thy neighbour's vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel. When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbour's standing corn. Deuteronomy 23:24-25

Aside from some detail that appears to be imaginative retelling there's nothing objectionable, as far as I can see, in what Ellen White wrote.

I'll be sure to get something to stop it, some cream or lotion perhaps

Better get yourself an exorcist, you may have accidentally opened a gateway to the spirit world and ya know no lotion is going to take care of that!

When accused of Sabbathbreaking at Bethesda, Jesus defended Himself by affirming His Sonship to God, and declaring that He worked in harmony with the Father. Now that the disciples are attacked, He cites His accusers to examples from the Old Testament, acts performed on the Sabbath by those who were in the service of God. (THE DESIRE OF AGES by Ellen White, The Sabbath, pages 284 & 285)
There's nothing objectionable in what Ellen White wrote in the above paragraph. The passage to which she refers is:
Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk? And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole.

And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true. There is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witnesseth of me is true.Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth. But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved. He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light. But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.I receive not honour from men.But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words? John 5:2-47

The Jewish teachers prided themselves on their knowledge of the Scriptures, and in the Saviour's answer there was an implied rebuke for their ignorance of the Sacred Writings. "Have ye not read so much as this," He said, "what David did, when himself was an hungered, and they which were with him; how he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, . . . which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?" "And He said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath." "Have ye not read in the law, how that on the Sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless? But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple." "The Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath." Luke 6:3, 4; Mark 2:27, 28; Matt. 12:5, 6.

And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands. And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do ye that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days? And Jesus answering them said, Have ye not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungred, and they which were with him;How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the shewbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone? And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. Luke 6:1-5

And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn. And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful? And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him? How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him? And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath. Mark 2:23-28

But I say unto you, That in this place is onegreater than the temple. But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. Matthew 12:1-8

Ellen White retells the story from the three synoptic gospels, quoting from them - the bold text is the text she quoted - and adding some of her own touches. Her approach is ecclectic, gathering verse and sentence fragments from the three synoptic gosels and amalgating them into her narrative. Ellen White thus creates a kind of harmony of these passages evening out each gospel's distinctions and erasing their author's purpose in selecting the exact wording that he selected. This is not in itself a bad thing, but it does tend to make accurate exegesis a little more difficult. Thus she gives us a mixed narrative reconstructed for her own purposes.

There is one significant point in the quoted materials that is brought out even more clearly in each of the gospel narratives and that point is that the 7th day is not lord of the rest of God's people but rather it is Jesus himself who is Lord of the rest (sabbath). And as the author of Hebrews so clearly teaches, in chapters three and four of that book, the rest is the Christian's rest in a never ending day that is ever present to all who are faithful to Christ their Lord.
