Sort of a personal opinion, isn't it? I mean, hardly any church of any sort does that.

So, you believe that the idea that God asked us to use common elements is a personal opinion? Hmm. And the use of wheat is required by Scripture?

As I have said, I don't think that we need the legalism. I don't think that requiring countries of the world where wheat is rare wot use wheat, ditto for grape wine. Personally, I think that we lose our universality when we insist on Western cultural ideas for the meanings of Scripture, which of course was not Western at all.

The idea that only certain dimensions, shapes, etc. for the elements are
acceptable seems to be nothing more than a personal opinion, that's right. That was your contention with the "wafers."

After all, if it were not just a personal preference, we would expect various denominations to agree with you.
