One of the advantages of an eInk Kindle over a tablet or phone is that the browser is fairly clunky and I am never tempted to use it. There are several Bibles for Kindle available at no cost, such as the ESV. Many of the paid versions are inexpensive, especially if you wait for a discount.

i prefer paper books. electronic devices will make your eyes hurt.

for bible studying and quoting google and a decent bible program is very useful but for normal reading a book or maybe those kindles that are easy on the eyes would be nice. though kindles seem to fail too much (my first one broke, it would not turn on or charge and I got a replacement that had a few buttons that did not work).
