On a scale of 1 to 10, I'm curious to hear folks' skepticism that there will not be an election held this year. There is a lot of chaos being sown by, well, a chaos based administration.

1 being ABSOLUTELY certain an election would take place.

10 being ABSOLUTELY certain there will not be an election.

I mean, I haven't been a 1 since Trump was elected. I haven't thought for a moment he would work in service to his country. As ICE began to be deployed, I figured it was a matter of time before their troglyditic heavy handed measures began to tick people off too much (as hard as they are trying) and folks would start to fight back.

Now we have ICE shooting a Minneapolis woman in the face.

I'm gonna put this my number at, say....

There will be an election. Two things: I don’t trust Trump not to try and mess with it somehow and I no longer trust Americans to make the right choice even in a totally free and fair election.

The next presidential election is in 2028. In almost 3 years, Trump will be out of office. Forever.

It’s ugly but this past election and more importantly this last year under the new administration has only deepened my cynicism about the country.

Yes, you are right. I meant to say a war inside the usa, or the aftermath of bombing. Also hackers wrecking the internet, finacial institutions, the electric grid or pipelines could do it. I suppose a worse pandemic should be included. The Spanish flu altered the.midterms so maybe it would have to be worse (God forbid). I dont think many will accept anything less than a serious issue though some politicians might try.

You heard him telling his constituents, give me the midterms or I will be impeached. That was a warning--I think Trump, who is not a very courageous person, is trepidatious about what he knows he will have to do to keep power if the midterms don't go his way

1. Yes. There will absolutely be elections this year. Anyone who disagrees is just a victim of liberal media hyperbole.
