I was just checking out some Messianic Gentile sites and came across this "Anti-Messianic Gentile cult" site ( Yeah, what next) And found this, could someone with a Hebrew background explain this?

synonymously with the tetragrammaton of Yahweh (Ruth 1:21, Ps. 91:1-2) to emphasize the power and might of God. El Saddam is used 218 times.

This is four Hebrew letters (Yod, He, Waw and He) called the "Tetragrammaton". The four characters are the four Hebrew letters that correspond to YHWH and are transliterated IAUE or Yahweh.

i get it. i would have read the hebrew as being y'hovah though. funny that peole read it as yahweh and jahovah but i have never heard anyone say y'hovah.

now.... what about el saddam. it was used 218 times.... but where was it used 218 times... or was the originaly question of this thread.

I don't think they miss-spelled it meaning El Shaddai, because I think that was the name that preceeded it. I have tried looking elsewhere for this "typo?" but haven't been successful as yet.

Well Saddam is an Arabic name, so you're not going to find it in a Hebrew bible at all.

If seen all kinds of twisted translations back and forth to get a meaning one wants out of something though. True Prophecy however isn't that cryptic, or else it loses any meaning to it.
