Eating disorder prayer.....

Please pray for me.... .... I'm had problems with an ED for about 3 years now. I go through stages of not eating well, to eating too much to just about starving myself. Crazy as it seems, it's harder to quit all of the the bad habits than just saying "I quit." Sometimes I want to, and sometimes I want to loose "just 10 more pounds." ....... I have several triggers going on in my life right now and I need prayers to keep them at bay. Prayers to have strength and courage and to see things as they really are. Thanks so much....... this is so important to me..

Hey, you are definitely in my prayers! I have a friend that goes to school with me that was just forced to go home by her parents because she thought she was too fat. So I can sympathize with you. Hello Promiseseeker, I will keep you in my prayers daily. I have suffered with an eating disorder and being anorexic. I am a 16 year old male. I was sent down to Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tennessee for about three months. The doctors put a feeding tube down my throat. It was very painful and was not fun at all!! The feeding tube stayed down my throat for 4 months. Now I am doing better and have learned to eat on my own again. Just don't worry, you can do this. I know you can. My doctor just told me to eat whenever I was hungry, but not to overeat. Stop eating when you get full. If you don't get better then I urge you to get to your doctor immediately. Just remember that you are going to be just fine. Thats what my doctors told me and they were right. So please take my advice because I hate to see good people go through this. If you ever have difficulty eating, then you can PM me and we can talk. In the meantime get better. GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS!!

Oh sweetie...I will pray for you...have been wondering how you were doing. The Lord has healed me of anorexia...it takes a while for these things, but He can heal the root causes for anxiety/depression...any other keys that drive us to do things like this.

Wanting to get well...not getting too isolated is good. I pray right now for His peace to invade your spirit...bringing a deep sense of well being and I ask You Father to begin to release real healing for Promise...just for her Lord according to Your unfailing love for her.
