How many nights between 'good' 'friday' and 'easter' 'sunday' ?

Do you see there are two? [Hebrew nights being of the same number as Roman-style ones]

What did Jesus say he would leave as his sign? [Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale’s belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.]

is there a difference between two and three nights when one is giving a sign to people from God about corrupt religion?

are Jesus' signs of any meaning ?

Might one compare this with Jesus keeping passover with his disciples a day earlier than the tradition of the Jewish hierarchy, showing them they were wrong by scripture just as modern Christianity does not reprove itself to what Jesus said , let alone the whole Word of God?

Is this scripture from Paul of any meaning to modern divided traditions labelled Christian whatever - Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Who divided Christianity separating it from the beliefs of those who gave up sin to follow Christ - 2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. ?

Which is stronger for most people, the words of Jesus, the saints and the prophets as one integral word of God [necessarily one else it is not of God], or grossly divided and differing countless traditions of religion? [which are far from one, but prophesied by Jesus himself eventually to become one united belief in one religion under the antichrist figure - Rev 13:3-4 ....and all the world wondered after the beast and they worshipped the dragon ] ?

Is the real evidence from scripture in Jesus own words of any meaning any longer in thus-paganised religion labelled by his name ?

One obviously cannot stop the falling away from Jesus' teachings in scripture because Jesus himself said it must come first, but how is it that almost all ignore Jesus' witness in scripture in plain words, preferring dogma and ritual that is familiar, habitual, pagan traditions dressed up, so clearly contradicting what is written, as having anything to do with the truth of God in scripture on which the tradition yet pretends to be based?

Is it not possible to see that all contradictions cannot be true, however familiar and common the tradition of believing them today ?

Does not the scripture itself show that Jesus set passover as his memorial which very few keep any longer , preferring traditions based upon paganism that make Jesus out to have FAILED to keep his promise about the sign of Jonah? :-

Matthew 26:18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.

Luke 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

I personally believe Christ was resurrected on the Sabbath, and crucified Wednesday, and that both "Easter" and "Sunday reverance" comes from Rome and basically calls Jesus a liar. I also believe that "first day of the week" as it applies to the Resurrection is a mis-translation.

Of course, this limits the churches I can go to, which majorly sucks.

it is hard for me to see why anyone wishes to follow divided churches in divided worship by ritual that has no connection to God except denial of scripture ... look far enough in the scripture and you will easily find that Jesus was right and modern religion has fallen away from God, as he said it must do before he can return...

If one takes Jesus' revelation seriously then one knows the world united will worship the Christ figure created by Satan , the antichrist, not the real Jesus [e.g. Rev 13:3- ]

then why would one seek God in religion or churches [especially when they are run by and attended by sinners, not those who became saints who follow(ed) Jesus...

[ Jesus made it plain that he will take no-one who has not ceased ALL sin before his return Matthew 7:23 , but he will take all who do, the saints of this life , most of whom die for their faith that keeps them sinless once they are baptised of the spirit , sealed by knowing all truth of God (John 16:13) ]

How many saints by then then, just 144,000 according to Jesus [e.g. Rev 7:3-8], out of over 12 billion that ever yet lived ... Enoch shows this is a real figure, not symbolic as modern churches are obliged to believe [else they could not grow and have vast power over so many men's beliefs ... herd instinct, but hardly true to scripture of God] :-

Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints.

So that means about two thousand saints alive at any time , but they are no longer in congregations like at the beginning , they were set a task by Jesus to continue his work of finding the long-lost House of Israel in preparation for its uniting with the very apparent House of Judah [the 'Jews'] under the Christ . 'Christ' means 'annointed' king in Greek, same as 'Messiah' in Hebrew - the long-prophesied king of Israel [not just of the very apparent Jews, but also of the lost house of Israel] :-

Ezekiel 37:22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:

So there is the real gospel about the real Christ , the descendants of both lines of kings, both houses in divided Israel , are now forgiven for breaking THEIR old covenant and have a new covenant with God ... but truly the bible says [Heb 8:8-13, Jer 31:31-34] exactly WHO the new covenant is with , consistent in OT and NT with all God's promises and the history ... only a remnant of the tribes of Israel will be taken [but note they are not all of the House of Judah, not all 'Jews' , not all keeping Judaism...] ... it is Jesus who says so very distinctly in his revelation -Rev 7:3-8

All the couple of thousand saints alive today are descendants of Jacob to whom the promise came, and the new covenant states explicitly that it is ONLY with those descended from those who broke the old covenant :-

Heb 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers ...

That single word 'their' gives away the deception of almost all modern christianity, the true gospel is not what is taught today but directed at the lost House of Israel. it is for them that 'Grace' is defined simply because God has said who will be all His priests and kings in the His kingdom come upon the earth [eventually, not now, although it is known about in some hearts, notably those of the saints , and surely came close to many of us]

What then of all the sinners Jesus came to save who are the majority of men that ever lived and died , still sinning all our lives?

the wages of sin is [only] death ... it means simply that if one continues in sin all this life then one is sure to die [unlike that some saints are promised by Jesus that they will e translated and never see death, just as Enoch never died - and Jesus never died after he was resurrected but was translated]

All are resurrected from 'hell' according to Jesus [Revelation 20:13] so death has two effects only ... it brings together most people that ever lived at the second resurrection [of the unjust, as distinct from the resurrection of those few who died saints , at Jesus' return, to be translated]

Also it frees everyone from sin, so sinners do not need any grace by the new covenant, death itself frees them as Paul underlined:-

Romans 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Jesus explained that religion must fall away, one can then see from scripture that the gospel has fallen away from the truth , that all memorial sabbaths to god's future plan have been changed for unholy pagan celebrations dressed up as 'christian' that just don't exist in scripture and make out that scripture is false [topically Easter, as recently discussed, but one can see that every single Holy day of god has been replaced in religion by a false alternative, even most Jews have been caused to keep the wrong days by changing traditions in time] ... religion is divided then already, Gd si not, but when religion re-unites, as Jesus has said it will and must, it will unite in praise of one in place of christ, not the scriptural Jesus but a false image of a christ.

That is why it would be wise to listen to why Jesus said he had come, the ONLY case he first came :-

Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the House of Israel.

The scripture says who the House of Israel are and they have indeed disappeared ... to the extent that the 'Jews' believe they are all of Israel ... but the House of Israel was scattered worldwide long before the 'Jews' infamous scattering , and the House of Israel stuck with idol worship whilst most 'Jews' stuck with Judaism ...

Modern churches in christianity do NOT seek the House of Israel despite that Jesus and Paul said to the saints, the early christians, that this is the main quest in being a christian ... religion has lost its aim set by Christ in this world [but the saints have not] :-

Matthew 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

this then [below] is the true gospel sent out with his true followers by Jesus , that the House of Israel, whose fathers broke the old covenant, are now FORGIVEN unconditionally by God so that they can be the priests and kings in His [future] kingdom upon earth and THEN bring to salvation MANY of all nations -Rev 7:9-10

Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:
...Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Is it not remarkable that Jesus prophecy has come true that almost all in the religions labeled christianity and Judaism do not even know who the House of Israel are, let alone their crucial central role in the salvation of mankind ... religion is divided which proves its corruption from the ONE truth of God , yet so very many already follow what simply cannot be true ... the scripture shows that it is indeed not true, but men follow tradition even though it has changed repeatedly since it was true...

The point then is that there are very few saints and they are scattered worldwide doing the task Jesus set, to find the lost house of Israel and so continue the thin line of saints down through history despite the strong delusion of the many by continually changing now-apostate religious traditions .. it began early that religions had fallen away from the truth, it has continued and it has gone almost to completion ready for the antichrist to unite religion in one faith, but it will not be what Jesus taught [he atates as much in his revelation that the world unites in worshiping the image created by Satan - Rev 13] :-

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

compare Jesus' prophecy that 'all the world will worship an image of Christ manufactured by Satan in order that men are fooled into worship of the the one in place of Christ ['antichristos' in Grek] - Rev 13:3-8

How many escape this fate ? there are only the 144,000 saints capable of doing so according to Jesus enumeration [Rev 7;3-8] most of them dead already by then, perhaps a couple of thousand only amongst over 6 billion worshipping under united religion created by Satan , evolved from the divided [thus mostly untrue by simple logic] demnostrably apostate [from scripture] religions now present in the world.

Now, if you mean this is only TEMPORARY and for God's purpose in the earth, then i would agree with you, but nevertheless it is a very signoficant event to watch for [just as Jesus commanded his disciples to watch] ... it is a falling away albeit that God will seek everyone back in due course [but not in this life]

I think that you misunderstood, this falling away has everything to do with the written stated plan of God in scripture , God is not losing anyone by it, but gaining everyone eventually , it is for God and ultimately for redemption of all creation ... nothing is lost ... it is a written fixed story about the failure of time to be real [to the spirit] , only we see the 'future' as a mystery ,and that only because we learn from the world [and even religion]not to look to our hearts of love in all things ...
