I was reflexing on many things today and this is my prayer for easter.
Lord, teach me to accept the things I cannot change
Teach me to accept that I am the parent of children
Teach me to accept that my time no longer is mine exclusivly
Teach me to accept that I am no longer a carefree single person
Teach me to accept that my husband is not like me
Teach me to accept that I cannot go back to my 20's
Teach me to accept that growing older is not necessarily a curse
Teach me to accept that I cannot speed up or bring back time
Teach me to accept that money will not make me happy
Teach me to accept that there is hope for the future
Teach me to accept that I am me and that is fine
Teach me to take each day as it comes and enjoy the small pleasures in life
