  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Since the subject has been brought up, I have a question. How dare any man assume the person of Jesus in a theatrical performance?

His tender compassion fell with a touch of healing upon weary and troubled hearts. Even amid the turbulence of angry enemies He was surrounded with an atmosphere of peace. The beauty of His countenance, the loveliness of His character, above all, the love expressed in look and tone, drew to Him all who were not hardened in unbelief.

I would tremble at the thought of "acting" as if I were Jesus. To me it borderlines on blasphemy.

I think it would honor Jesus, that through a play, we as believers try to Glorify him, and spread his message to a lost and dying world. The play is on The Last Supper, and i personally think it is wonderful. I think any occasion that people come togethor as a group for the sole purpose of giving praise to our Lord and Saviour is a wonderful thing. God knows its a play, no one is claiming to be, or trying to be Jesus Christ. God Bless

Just the opposite is true. It is blasphemy if in any way you are not just like Jesus was (or is)

Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Ephes. 4:24 put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

Col. 3:10 put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,

We should all be able to stand before the entire world, and when they see us, they should see Jesus.

I really do not believe Jesus is upset as long as it is not some lie being told about Him and it is to save people. Are we not allowed to speak for Him from the Scriptures. And does He not speak to us through prophetic messages?
It is not a sin. Don't worry about it.
