CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not disgusting...if you clean them. Alcohol prep pads are your FRIENDS!
I was going to comment about using alcohol pads! I suppose I would let someone use my earbuds if I had an alcohol pad with me (which I always have on hand). But I would be reluctant to let someone use my earbuds if they weren't a family member or close friend, to be honest. However....I have had people use my stethoscope before, and I always clean it afterwards (albeit, with a much stronger hospital-grade disinfectant).

My ears and earbuds don't agree so I don't use them. But it's funny, I work at a radio station and get creeped out by using headphones that are 'in the studio.' When I worked part time announcing, I brought my own to use for my 'show.'

that aside it depends on the earbuds.... some just go real deap and collect everything (remember when they used to have cloth covers instead of rubber) also if it comes out coated in wax and all nasty looking then forget it... thats just wrong...
not to mention you have to worry about MTD's (musically transmited diseases lol) =D
