E-sword?

Hey,
I was just curious if anyone uses E-sword. I was just at the website, and it looks AWESOME. I'm a little scared to download those types of things though... I'm scared they may have spyware. If you've downloaded it, does it have spyware? Thanks for your help!

As far as I know, E-sword has No Spyware, I dont think it even calls home by itself.

i run esword on my desktop, laptop, and pocketpc and havent noticed anything suspect at all. i'd go as far as to say it might just be the best thing ive found online all year! imagine, the word of god, available in so many translations, absolutely free! and the study guides/dictionaries/devotionals are awesome too!

go to the e-sword site and then go under the training tab, there will be a few articles to get you started.

esword is *most* excellent! I wish that I liked Bibletime for Linux as well...

E-Sword is a great program at a great price as well. I wis I could find more things as cheap as I found E-Sword.

Haven't noticed any spystuff on it.

I wish it had ECF and Patristics, and writings of the Saints etc. as add-ons

FYI Followup

Did a full install All extra downloads, and Nothing tried to access the internet, so I would say win 99.9999% Certintay(sp) that there is NO spyware in it

Great program, the PocketPC Version is nice also

i only wish they'd add a translation including the apocryphal books for the pocketPC version... maybe it's forthcoming not like my hands arent full with all the stuff they have already

Dont even have enough room on my CF card for all the stuff they have for the PocketPC version, need to get a larger card
