E Ban Bug

Found another bug with the E-Bans (At least it looks like an e-ban bug)

Some time this morning a user (Syfonic) Send me a New Visitor Messages.
Now looking at there profile, it looks like they've been e-baned.

The problem is, I've got a "New Visitor Messages" notification for there message, but I can't delete it, as when they got banned, there message was deleted

So I can't view the deleted message.

So what they need to do is when they do the e-ban, have it delete the New Visitor Messages notification also if passable.

The message was to contact him for info on how to start your own forum.

How'd he mange to leave so many visitor messages?

Cool. while you're at it can you disappear the phantom pm notification I've been complaining about for the las 2 months? 2 months of blinking pm notification has me a bit edgy, lol.

Avatar, is it your private message that is blinking or is it another type of notification? Do you have a lot of pm's? If so, here's a couple ideas. Some you've likely tried, but since I don't know which, I'll just name them.
1) Check to be certain you haven't left a message unread.
2) If you use folders, check your folders for an unread message.
3) Having tried both of those, if you delete just one message (you can download it to your computer for safekeeping first) that might work. It used to be the case with the "old" CF that for some reason if I just deleted one message it would go away. I never figured out why that happened.

I cleared all my folders two months ago - deleted every last pm in both received and sent. Then when the message reappeared after SirAdrian cleared it I deleted everything again. Still there. I tried your latest suggestion -to delete one- no luck. Please just make it go away. I twitch now, when I see it blinking, lol.
