  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Friends, its a durga puja season here. For 10 days its holidays, people make Idols of Goddesses Durga, and few others , at different places, and decorate it.

These 10 days people worship these Idols, at some places they do animal sacrifices, music dances, programs to make this durga puja more special.

Friends you can pray, let those worshipping Idols come to hear and know Lord Jesus, and accept Him as personal Saviour.

God bless!

Yes amen...that is funny that it begins now and goes for 10 days. The next 10 days from today--Rosh Hashana or Jewish new year are called the Days of Awe leading up to Yom Kippur(DAy of Atonement) The holiest day of the Jewish calendar. During the next 10 days Jews are to examine themselves for sin and repent, asking forgiveness of those they have sinned against so that they are ready for Yom Kippur and after that Sukkot--Feast of Tabernacles...when they rejoice in God for a week, living in tiny palm leave covered boothes.
So may the Lord Jesus grant repentance unto life to the Indian people sacrificing to demons, and also to the Jewish people -, that they accept the Atonement which Jesus made for them.
